Let’s see... you mentioned that a keyboard could never be replaced and then I gave an example of how it has already been replaced. What’d I miss, exactly?

You're seriously going to argue that Apple computers are cheaper in price than Windows machines? You're the one living in a fantasy world, but everyone here already knew that.

    1. Yes, because they are.

    2. We’re talking about 20 years ago, which while it was still the case, is even further skewed toward Apple computers in education.

    Educate yourself.

I don't think I have ever heard someone be more wrong. Try providing proof instead of remembering the fantasy you live in where Apple didnt almost go out of business and have to be saved by Microsoft. I can go buy a brand new Windows laptop of any brand for $500 or less and the cheapest Macbook is the $900 Air. I can find any brand new Windows computer cheaper than any brand new Mac computer in all categories.

    Once again:

"A touchscreen is never going to eliminate the keyboard. In fact, the more people use a touchscreen for work, the more they realize how much they need a keyboard."

I never said replaced, I said "eliminate" - big difference. Your mind read what it wanted to read.

Yes, touchscreen keyboards are everywhere but that only serves to highlight their short comings. Touchscreens will never eliminate the keyboard, people who sit down and actually do computer work need them.

Ah, those were the days. I remember back in 1994 when you could get a MacBook Air for only... Oh, wait, no, they didn’t make the MacBook Air in 1994, did they.

And no, purchase price is not the price of the machine in the first place. I’ve already said both of these things in the post to which you just replied. Please read before posting.
