Hmmm, perhaps wireless BEATS earbuds for iWatch: for music, and Siri informing you how many miles you jogged, heartbeat, etc. ?? Wireless speaker reception is usually pretty bad, but maybe Apple has found a way.
"They are not playing at the event or releasing their album on the iPhone" might also mean: "we are playing after the event and the album is pre loaded to the *new apple product*.

Narratives about Apple will always be what they are. We know by now that Apple cannot, and does not, control that.
True, but for a company that has moved on and doesn't need to encourage the narrative that already exists, it would be exceedingly odd to put Steve's image back out in front like that. In other words: never gonna happen, and anybody who thinks this would be a good idea - other than for the the fact that us extreme Steve fans would dig it - isn't thinking too clearly.
Besides, it's kind of a crass move, not a class move. Definitely not Apple's style, and certainly nothing that Steve would have supported, let alone participated in.
If U2 is indeed performing tonight, they should have just shut up rather than deny the rumour earlier.
My main concern for tonight is, why the f**k isn't this on Apple TV? I'd rather lounge on my La-Z-Boy and watch on my HDTV than slouch in front of my iMac.

Live streaming video requires Safari 5.1.10 or later on OS X v10.6.8 or later; Safari on iOS 6.0 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 6.2 or later.

They should be playing this as they announce the "wearable"

Really don't want them to play anything, but "where the streets have no name" would have been proper for the initial Maps.
If Narendra Modi can do it (http://bit.ly/1mFR15d) why not Apple with Steve Jobs?
Well for starters it would be tacky and tasteless. Second, they are trying to encourage folks to view Steve as the past, why dreg him up

It will be on the Apple TV.
It will be on the Apple TV.
Surprising that there is no official word about it, unless I missed it.
I checked the Apple TV a couple of hours back and there was no icon (yet) for Special Events.
