Not even close. Unless you demonstrate this is fragile and will break easily and is a horrible design flaw...then your comment is empty baseless FUD.
The bigger concern I've seen is that the phone no longer sits flat and stable on a surface so it rocks when you touch it. But you can go ahead and jump down his throat in defensive rage if you'd like...
Huh - I just made a cardboard mockup that's slightly thicker than the specs for the real thing for iPhone 6 Plus, but the width/hight are accurate and it slipped into my pocket just fine. It obviously weighs less. I suppose I could get OCD and use some change to weight it - but I was more concerned about it fitting into my pocket comfortably - I'm going to walk around with it a little tomorrow, but I must admit I'm pleasantly surprised at how manageable the dimensions of it are so far.
I'm moving from "No way" to "Slightly skeptical" and may end up at "Buy". We'll see at the end of the day tomorrow if I feel the same way.

You don't think Apple wouldn't have factored that into consideration - that thing is so curved they could have it where it's stable when on it's back and we just can't tell right now. It's a little premature to get this nit picky....
I'm extremely excited about Apple Pay but it works just like Google Wallet. Token and all.
I dunno - two huge differences:
1. Secure Element - specific local cryptographic storage not tied to the cloud
2. Touch ID for quickly authenticating with no need to type a PIN, login or something else that could be shoulder surfed

Other things people need to consider are the curved sides (which are easier to slide into a pocket compared to squared sided iPhone), width gain (regarding the device and not the device height unless it won't fit in your pocket comfortably when fully inserted). The actual display measurement on the diagonal is meaningless. There are several Android-base devices I've the past year that have shown how these large displays can be useful without affecting portability.
I'll be interested to see how Apple implements person-to-person (iPhone-to-iPhone) transfers. No reason why they couldn't make an anonymous "like cash" transaction system.
I'm also curious what the reaction of thieves and organized crime will be to these devices. There will always be a reaction because criminals do not give up easily.
The same crappy FaceTime camera as the 5C???
You've got to be kidding.
So what? You were expecting a 4K FaceTime camera?
He apparently gets paid double for telling the same lies in two different threads. So according to him, this is just hogwash:
With a larger aperture and all-new sensor technology, the front-facing FaceTime HD camera now captures 81 percent more light. It also has improved face detection. And its new burst mode takes 10 photos per second. So whether you’re trying to snap the perfect selfie or connecting with someone across the country, every image looks just right.
The big screen must really kill the battery, the specs for talk time are 14 for the 6 and 24 for the 6+ (no screen on) where as the internet use is only 1 or two hours better on the + than the 10 or 11 on the 6. Also, the 6 has a better contrast ratio.
- 138.1 x 67.0 x 6.9, that's only 63843 mm cubed. 129 g (that's a really small volume). They really know how to compact things :-).
That means its ridiculously smaller than the Moto X. Nearly 40% smaller!
For the 6 plus
- 158.1 x 77.8 x 7.1, that's 87331 mm cubed 178g
- This one is 14% smaller than the note 3 (5.7 inch)
- This one is 19% smaller than the note 4 (5.7 inch)
- This one is 10.6% smaller than the HTC one (5.0 inch)
- This one is 11% smaller than the LG G3 (5.5 inch)
- About 1% smaller than the Xperia Z2 (5.2 inch screen)
- About the same size than the Sharp Aquos Crystal phone (5.0 inch)
- About 3% bigger than the S3 (5.1 screen)
Its easy to see here that yes, they are the most compact phone (even accounting for the notes being 0.2 inch taller).
If it were not for the camera, they'd probably take it even smaller. Maybe a tapered phone, with one end 4mm and the other end 7mm would work to make it smaller. That would make the 6s+, around 50000 mm cubed, probably the smallest size of 5.5 phone with a decent camera could be.
I have to wait and reserve judgment until I hold one in my hands, but I was initially disturbed by the protruding camera. Hopefully the thing sits flat and the pictures exaggerate the protrusion.
The iWatch needs to be tethered to a device with a better, bigger screen.....hmmmm.
If I'm driving with my iWatch on and turn right, does it go on and off?
I think that the old model of having the address bar and controls, app controls, etc. at the top of the screen is out dated on a phone.
Just shift everything that is now on the top to the bottom and it should be reachable with one hand. Unless you already said that.
Moving the controls down is an option - the URL bar in Safari doesn't have to go down (moving it down wouldn't be good as you scroll down a page) but perhaps there can be a corner icon or something that when tapped enters the text in the bar. Perhaps the notification panel can come in from the right. There's still settings to deal with, 3rd party apps and the top icon row.
Well, I don't believe Apple Play will track your every purchase like Google Pay does at this time. Goggle then sells this info and you get those wonderful emails from vendors you didn't know you had.
Axciom and DataLogix are the two primary companies tracking your purchase history, especially when loyalty or reward cards are used. And yes those two do sell your personal information which might result in those "wonderful emails" you mentioned. Google does not as far as we know.
On Apple's site the 6 has:
- 138.1 x 67.0 x 6.9, that's only 63843 mm cubed. 129 g (that's a really small volume). They really know how to compact things :-).

You've not accounted for the significant back taper on the MotoX. I suspect the Moto X is in reality no larger volume-wise than the iPhone 6. Might even be smaller. Also if you've decided that overall volume is the determining factor in comfort it isn't.

Huh? The lens is recessed. I have no intention of getting a case.

Here you go (as far as the FaceTime camera goes)-
http://www.apple.com/iphone-6/cameras/
So it's the same, AND it's better. That settles that, you're both right
I found this interesting, Under Intelligent Assistant it lists Siri, hands free and 'Listen and identify songs' which I haven't seen anywhere before.

This is the best page for comparing all the available phones-

Initial thoughts only.
Personally the thickness of the phone is not that much of an issue for me, as I'd rather have a bigger battery.
I think this comparison really shows how oversized the bezels are on the iPhone 6
http://mobiledevicesize.com/compare/#361,473,474,434;1
The LG G2 has a 5.2" screen in a body that is basically the same size as the 4.7" iPhone 6
The LG G3 has a 5.5" screen just like the 6+, but is more phone than phablet.

It’s a, uh... it’s a phone. I do want to revisit this topic when it’s released, however. I’ll throw some 720 and 1080 on it and measure differences.
I expect an inability to go to Apple’s website out of stupidity/laziness on the part of 1 post users on a product launch day, but not regulars.
