Thank God. He's the only actor with the chop's or resemblence to SJ to play the part. Great casting; I just hope the script doesn't suck. Mac, Next & iPod are all very valid for the 3 acts of the film but can you really leave out other, more recent accomplishments- Pixar, iPhone...maybe iPad and basically saving Apple and recreating the most admired brand in the world ? The influence Jobs had goes so far beyond apple products. Not sure how you could even capture that on film actually. Maybe I just answered my own question.

Yikes.  A few scenes like that and many of us Apple fans will be wishing they hadn't made this movie.

Steve Jobs would never have done this.

This was my personal pick long ago...He can nail this. If they take some liberties with Jobs' portrayal (allowing Bale to stretch from Jobs' single-purpose public persona to incorporate some emotional range), with a well written script he will probably get a best actor nomination. How's that for a baseless opinion?

That is who I originally said should play the role. Awesome.

Bale is a good choice to play SJ as he has a reputation of being rather prickly too.

Mr. Bale? No problem here. :smokey:

Is nobody going to Photoshop Bale into the iconic hand-on-the-chin Jobs photo? (I suck at PS.)

Michael Keaton was a better Steve Jobs than Christian Bale.

OK, you got a good one in there. That was funny.

You're still not forgiven for your "Bendghazi" hysteria, though.

yeah, christian bale is probably a good choice, but i'm far more excited about the prospect of the boyle/sorkin team. now that is going to make me want to watch the film.

Don't forget he was also known as Patrick Bateman in American Psycho.

They were taking Leo for a little - after seeing him in the great gatsby, I think they made the right choice. If his attempt at impersonating an English accent is a foreshadowing, anyways. Also, happy with the director - dragon tattoo seemed very pigeon holed - would probably do the same with jobs. Slum dog, on the other hand, isn't afraid to be happy now and again, something wannabe artists struggle with.

I pretty sure everyone agrees Ashton Kutcher looks the most like him but I understand why they won't use him.

You're aware Kutcher has already been in a Steve Jobs movie...right?

Hopefully they can get Ballmer to star as himself.

    I was thinking Will Sasso
