That term 'trolled 'seems to be developing a new meaning around here. Or are you suggesting I am a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people by posting inflammatory extraneous or off-topic messages in an online community such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion [wikipedia]
You also have to forgive someone from a different culture who thinks of health care as a right but paid for as a nation with taxes not risk management run by for profit organizations with share holders. It's all down to what you grow up with I guess.
Regarding 'their products'? I was not aware of anyone selling health insurance in the USA except insurance companies, the same ones as were there in 2013. I'm sorry I was unaware you could pay a professional directly, so I apologize for that. That would would fit with my tongue in cheek comment about removing the insurance companies though.
But I am not as down on the USA as you seem to be, relatively we seem to be doing pretty well compared to other first world nations also struggling out of the debacle of Wall Street.
I'm just a poor immigrant who came to these shores to work hard 22 years ago and support the USA whoever was President and proud to be a citizen.
Good luck trying to buy healthcare directly from the providers. The insurance companies all have nice little deals that allow them to settle your medical bills for a fraction of the billed amounts, but as an individual you are responsible for the full, and comically high, charges.
In the US, health care is certainly not a right. The word "right" gets used very carelessly and we have a Constitution which spells out which actual rights government is allowed and supposed to protect for American citizens. Anything beyond that is up to the people and the states.

To be fair I didn't say it was, nor propose it should be. What I said was I think of it that way because of growing up with it that way.

I didn't say who thinks it should be a right.
Words are important and should not be read carelessly .
Frankly I love the system here now i can be part of it again despite a pre existing condition (which is totally fixed now!). I do think there needs to be governance.

I'm not sure that anyone was claiming it to be a constitutional right. The question for society, at either State or Federal level, is should it be universally provided and guaranteed, as opposed to only available to those who can afford it? And, back to the free market concept, it is notable that no developed nation, that I am aware of, has made purely free market provision of healthcare into a workable system.
If memory serves, he told me it was because people kept whining about his post count instead of whatever the actual argument was.
That was a part of it, but a minor part. It surely wasn't the driving force behind the switch, but it definitely was an additional FU to those that make stupid comments about caring about post count. Just a couple days ago some asshat was saying that about me as his only defense when I answered some lame comment he made.

Well my thumbs down idea would be cool with a boot if minus a certain level. You guys with weighting could clear trolls faster than they can say 'Android' : Yes I am fairly liberal but believe in strong dictatorship

I remember when you and were chatting with your original handle and you were at 9800 or there about and we went back and forth all night and I asked if you were doing it to get to 10,000 and you said of course!
No worries. Thanks for the example. I read the article and did a little more research on the law. Thankfully it was ruled invalid a few months ago by the courts in Uganda.
I am all for gender equality, feminism, BLGT and oppressed minorities - no sarcasm intended here, I genuinely do support these causes because they contribute to a more diverse and richer society - but seriously ... the new hello Kitty headphones from Beats are pushing things a bit too far for me. #WTF
It is time Jony Ive & his team of designers re-imagine the iPod as headphones. Docter Dre is driving me insane!

Now we need a thumbs down weighted the same way and minus 100 means being *floated
*Term to throw out of an airlock on a space station.
Fixed.

Awe, I'd never have said that ... but ...
Well I think Soli and SoliX should be rejoined. Are we to expect SoliY any time soon maybe?
The people who whine about post count generally whine to me now, so I doubt it.

Why on earth do they care? Do they qualify their whining with any justification?
“you waste your time here so I am better than you that means I win the argument *raspberry* poopyhead”, I think.
lol

That seems like yesterday!
I apologise - and of course they are different.
In answer to your question, here is just one example. I could, depressingly, provide many, many, many more ...

Did anyone else read that Tim Cook came out today?
Must've missed that story...tell us more. ????

I've only gotten through page 1 of the comments, but dude, you win the best one-liner here on AI in years.
