The as shown by German site Bild, the Chinese "Smart Watch" device also sports a color display...
I don't speek German, but I'm fairly sure he repeatedly describes the display as monochrome. Also it sure doesn't look like a color display.
In any case, both the hardware and software look absolutely terrible.
To be honest, the watch looks very like the Apple Watch. You'd be hard pushed to tell the difference from a few feet away. As the Apple Watch is all about being a fashion statement, this would potentially be a killing blow for Apple, were it not for the fact that the 70s went out of style a few decades ago.
At $27 it's a way better deal for what it does than the Apple Watch is at $350 for what it does. Yes, the Apple Watch does more, but it doesn't do $323 more.

1) There are better knock offs that are cheaper with an even larger price discrepancy.
2) I would be able tell this is fake from any distance the display and bands.
Nobody could say with a straight face that they can't tell this apart from the real ?Watch. Its obviously a ripoff but it's so fake it isn't even funny.

Friend of mine bought a "Rolex" watch in the Philippines. Somebody asked him if it was real. He replied, "If it isn't, I got ripped off for twenty bucks!"
did the Omega do $5000 more than a regular watch? This kind of idiotic comments should have never been posted in the tech forums.
I was going to tell you not to miss-quote me (thought you manually posted the quote header)... but then I realized there is someone else who is using a nearly identical name that joined AI literally a month before me and has nearly identical post count.
I do concur with you (and the others saying similar things). The difference in functionality compared to this knockoff is well worth the $300+ difference in price. Also the AppleWatch Edition (rumored to start in the $1000's) would be on-par with your comment about the Omega.
Oh good lord. Would anyone ever buy a nice watch this way? Talk about your early adopters. I guess you're the kind of Apple fan Apple expects to ensure a successful launch.
It's crap like this is which is why I emphatically believe that China should be booted out of the WTO NOW! They have zero regard for IP and blatantly break WTO rules everywhere because those f**cking idiots think the world is addicted to their cheap crap and cheap labor that we can't live without them.
Our U.S. government really needs to protect our interests. The politicos are just to chicken-sh!t to do anything and it just irks the hell out of me.

And therein lies the rub.

No.
Just goes to prove anything can be copied by the Chinese no matter how ugly.
Quite.
You guys should take your comedy act on the road.

You say that like it's a bad thing.
