He was banned I think, though I don't know what finally did it. It looks like the ban is now lifted, but maybe he is too ashamed to come back (ha-ha). Anyway, he was never anti Tim Cook.
He would occasionally go over the top on politics and social issues, but I must say that along with Slurpy, he was a master at calling out and putting in place googloids.
I thoroughly enjoyed those posts, and they sort of made up for his other nonsense. Let's hope he's back soon, minus the politics.
Oh, he certainly was not anti Tim Cook; that's why I said 'et. al'.

The Android apologists are cowering in the corner at this point. I think they have mostly conceded defeat or are in denial in some closet. Anyone with any class uses iPhone as their everyday driver.
There are a few misguided Android users still out there. In my department, of fifteen people, we have one left where two years ago there were maybe ten. He is a legacy hold out but his wife uses iPhone.

I'm still not sure how "and others" excludes anything in your original comment. The subject and predicate still have to be paired.

I truly wish you'd cut back on your proclivity for being a pedant at times. (Except, of course, when it suits you otherwise, as in the post in another thread -- I am sure you'll see it -- where you conveniently conflate '2015' with 'ever').

Not at all. Both votes amount to nothing because neither has any effect. Mine in a local context and yours in a national context unless you have local libertarians running for elected positions your vote is ineffective.

Go with the flow, man....
Being accurate suits us all best. If I am inaccurate I would prefer you note that, so I can evaluate the error… then I'll have my builder make changes to my codebase to help ensure that doesn't happen in the future.
It's showing up kind of small, but I can only see one wife, and no concubines. Plus it seems there aren't enough children either, but I suppose you'd only show the first born son, since the daughters are of no consequence.

It looks like they've got icons for a whole range of family setups: two men, two women, woman and man plus one or two kids with variants of girls and boys. There's not enough yet though, they need all the race variations in the family too with all the children potentially adopted.
Ahh, what a conundrum being "inclusive" quickly becomes... ...you're bound to leave oxes gored... ...mixed ethnicity couples... ...multi-racial kids... ...and is five shades really "a wide range" of skin tones...??
(Not including the default yellow, which when applied to faces more human than a smiley is a sallow yellow that would have embarrassed even Sax Rohmer as a stereotype of Asian people.)
And you can go on and endlessly on... ...e.g., what about...
...long-haired men... ...short-haired women... ...bald men and women... ...large and proud... ...long beards, short beards, mustaches, side burns, mohawks, frohawks, mullets...
...and btw, speaking as an old fart what about old humans? As in grey hair, etc... ...and then all the variations on older couples and their ethnicities...

All I meant by 'et. al' was, "Apple][ and others who post with views on politics/society similar to his." If that helps you recalibrate, great. If not, I don't know what to say. It was meant to be tongue-in-cheek. In partial jest. Anticipatory statement on how the thread was likely to get hijacked. (And, ironically, it now has been, but for a different reason).
I don't really care about the emoji pictures as a statement of personal beliefs... But I am super happy that Siri now recognises Nu Zild accents, at least in the beta. Woo hoo!!!

I hate Dora the explorer.. I can understand the use of shading in emojis, to make them stand out in any size, background etc. I still don't like it.. And I still wish, while they're at it, that Apple overhauled all of the Emoji's. I think they're really bad. And now with the new Dora design.. uh... Jony, did you approve this?

It's like [@]Apple ][[/@] is here.

...bi-sexual... ...threesomes... ...polyamorous... ...asexual... ...transgendered...

I think it is pretty obvious that them using the iMac for their PC representation is the death knell of the Mac Pro.
Would Apple include ?Watch in there if they really thought it was going to be a failed product they want people to forget about?
The irony here is Apple's statement on "diversity" as a whole, as in:
Multi-ethnic, multi-sexual orientation, si..! but multi-OS, multi-manufacturer, non..! Lolz....
Multi-ethnic, multi-sexual orientation, si..! but multi-OS, multi-manufacturer, non..! Lolz....
That falls under the NYC Italian mafia ethnicity emoji. For get a bout it!

I am happy to let it go.
Woo hoo!!!
All the bugs in 8.1.3 and 10.10.2 and we get new emojis.

You interpret wisely.
Post of the week.
