I never could understand what blessed by God actually meant.
Is that when a semi truck veers of the road hitting a Christian school bus killing nearly everyone onboard by fire mostly teenagers or when twenty Christian workers are beheaded for dramatic effect in some terrorist publicity video? Where exactly is the blessing?
Open your Heart mstone, and thou shall be blessed!
That too but it is mainly how a Mac OS X volume is bootable! ????

Maybe it's in having your life saved in an operation in a Catholic hospital.
They're the only biological family but that guy there is sleeping with his wife's sister, the woman aborted one of her late-term babies and that kid has been touching himself way too much. God absolutely does not bless that family.
He was banned I think, though I don't know what finally did it. It looks like the ban is now lifted, but maybe he is too ashamed to come back (ha-ha). Anyway, he was never anti Tim Cook.
Sad that it took nearly two weeks for me to notice this. (Or maybe ]['s posts were redacted back that far? My memory isn't all that precise.)
Aside from the glimpses of logical insight gifted by the "best" of posters, AI has always struck me as being like a big bowl of chilli... lots of voices that, taken en masse, have a certain signature "tone".
That tone may change subtly from one thread to the next, depending on who's participating, and how loudly/passionately they do so... but it's still recognizably "chilli". Even if it's someone I've gone to the effort to block. Chances are I will sneak a peek anyway, and that's all part and parcel of my AI experience.
All that to say, love or hate, ][ is part of the chilli.
Can't you people just say "I like it" or "I don't like it" without having to reduce the discussion to democrats vs republicans vs liberals, or Obama, or gay marriage? Grow the **** up, oh never mind, this is the internet.
Does Dora teach kids English when the show is broadcast in Spanish-speaking countries? Oh sorry, I didn't read carefully enough. In our region she's certainly teaching English.
Yeah lol. She speaks Norwegian and really bad Norwegian accent on her English. Now all the emoji is gonna look like her.. Shite..
There was a time, long long ago, when Apple exercised leadership. Apple was the cutting edge of operating system design. Others looked to what Apple was doing and sought to imitate them. How times have changed. Apple is no longer a leader. The decline started in the last years of Steve Jobs, when his illness began to distract him. They have since morphed into a spineless sycophant, desperately clinging to a "me too" design philosophy that seeks to capitalize on whatever the current online fad happens to be.
Now, Apple looks to others for their cues. They see social media taking off, so they roll out iTunes Ping. It fails miserably. Google and Microsoft abandon skeumorphism and adopt a flat interface, so Apple copies them, assigning the task to Jonny Ive who whips up a butt ugly Candyland interface. Apple sees Pebble and Google working on smart watches so they say we must also make a smart watch. But instead of making Apple Watch a product unto itself, they make it an iPhone accessory which is useless on its own. Apple sees Facebook and others using emoji, so they say we must also embrace this wonderful new trend and pander to the lowest common denominator.
For those of us who remember Apple's golden era, it's an embarrassment. Apple isn't Apple any more. They're just another risk averse corporate leech looking to incorporate fads into their product mix for short term gain, instead of engaging in real innovation. In fact, they're starting to look a lot like Apple under John Scully--followers, not leaders. Who among us remembers eWorld, Apple's me-too AOL imitation? Or Newton, Apple's me-too answer to the Psion Organizer? Those were huge failures on Scully's watch, and they heralded the beginning of a long decline that almost killed the company. It would seem that Apple is embarking on that path again--the one of misguided imitation. But in fairness, without a visionary leader at the helm, what else can they do? For those of us who have learned the lesson of history, it's a portent of very bad things.
Depends on how you define "liberal" I suppose. Libertarian philosophy is also known as a "classical liberal" philosophy. Both the Democrat and Republican parties, on the other hand, are big government, special interest driven warmongers.
Libertarians are just republicans who don't give a shit about abortion.

Too right.
We need fewer ostriches with their heads in their sand and more visionaries prepared to ask the hard questions, like me and you.
Google were lucky to produce one killer product in their time: search.
Apple, under Jobs, were lucky to produce four: the Mac, the iPod, the iPhone and the iPad.
I fear that the chances of either company producing another are extremely slim. It’s now five years since the last. As such, all that we can do is enjoy our lovely Apples of yonder year and reminisce on the golden years of Jobs.
Which party championed the Civil Rights Act again? (Hint: it wasnt the democrats).
It was proposed, developed and led by Democrats, particularly LBJ, who shepherded it through a tough Congress, and Northern state Democrats who were strongly in support. It couldn't have passed without Republicans, though, because the Southern anti-civil rights Democrats were against it. It was an odd development - just a few years later, when the Republican Party became strongly anti-civil rights, Southern Democrats like Strom Thurmond switched parties. And those Republicans who voted for the bill didn't last very long after Nixon got elected with his "Southern Strategy."

Yeah, we'll all be enamored with some new companies and new products in various categories in the coming years. There's really no reason to root for any companies to keep winning other than just being a fan (or an investor).

Oof! That needs to be corrected.
This would never have happened if
were still alive.

Emojis still lack diversity - you can't get them out of your computer operating system, so we non-believers aren't allowed to follow our non-beliefs.
To me, emojis are incredibly stupid, and I'd like to never see another one ever.
