I stand corrected. He is a troll. But my point stands - just ignore his posts. Unless getting riled and partaking in endless bickering matches is your (one's) thing, of course. I know a lot of people here like to throw their weight around, beat their chests and call people 'morons', but personally I try to flip through those posts. I waste far too much of my working life hanging out here as it is and I only enjoy the informative and intelligent threads.
I wish Apple watch has better battery life like 3 days...I would buy it on day 1. I keep missing notifications, reminders, texts or even phone calls for my 6+ with vibration mode in the pocket.
The good thing is... your phone might end up lasting longer because you aren't checking it 1,000 times a day.
And it's not just missed calls and notifications from your pocket... imagine answering a phone call while your phone is in another room. That's one neat feature that is rarely talked about.
So many times I call people and they don't answer their phone because they don't have their phone on their person.
I know they are around... they're just not close enough to their phone to hear it or answer it.
Close enough. Here's how Arstechnica defines trolling: "Don't make posts that are inflammatory just to get people riled up. Substance is a key to not being labeled a troll, but substance alone cannot prevent you from being considered a troll. Substance with a dash of personal attacks will get you labeled as a troll."
I think it is going to be one of those types of product that you will need to see in person to fully appreciate.
I would agree with that. I think tactile interface is going to make a huge difference for this product in particular (assuming it looks better in person that it does on photos). Unlike the iPhone or iPad, people having access to floor models is going to go a long way toward motivating a purchase for many, so I would expect many sales to come after a person has a chance to visit the Apple Store.
Of course this won't make a bit of difference for the die hard, early-adopter-crowd, who buy anything Apple offers on the the first day. So I would expect April 24 will easily see several million sold on that basis alone. And that's something Android doesn't really have.

Sorry, but how does having 3 days of battery life, instead of 1 day, really affect the user experience? Why is it easier to throw it on the charger before you sleep every 3rd day, instead of everyday? At least when its every day, it becomes a normal habit like your phone. It seems to be that doing it randomly would be more annoying. My pebble lasts a few days, and honestly I don't see it as a benefit as it keeps dying at random times when I least expect it. Unless you're camping in the woods, or don't have access to power at night I don't see the direct benefit.
I don't think we should look at the sizes in that way. I believe we could see the utility of the wrist-worn device increase so rapidly that cultural changes will move to an even larger watch face than 42mm with 38mm falling out of fashion.
Cool app. For some, it will obviate the need to buy the $17,000 Apple Watch edition, thereby saving themselves a bob or two.
For those prepared to take the plunge, they now have less than a month before seeing whether their watches will last them 18 hours on one charge (it’s after 6 pm here in the UK).
This product category will be Tim Cook's first big test to see if he can replicate Steve Jobs's ability to produce a mega-hit in his New Apple. I hope he can, though I think he can't.

its annoying that an apple enthusiast site is moderated such that a known troll, who's purpose is to annoy the shit out of people on purpose, is allowed to operate, but those who identify a troll by its smelly trollish attributes and behaviors are then banned for periods of time. it's absurd.

Now you're in trouble!
I would agree with another poster. Don't buy one without trying it on first.

Wow that was so funny. I'm almost dying here.
I just thought it was men's and ladies sizes.
