Noone gives a shit. As if Apple can control what trash Drudge decides to post. Yes, millions of people visit Drudge, but anyone with sense knows it's basically toilet paper as far as integrity goes, one step below trashy tabloids. Stop pretending to be so concerned- something you always seem to do ONLY when it suits your agenda of pretending that Apple's liberal ideology is harming the company somehow. Drudge never held back the sensational anti-Apple headlines in SJ's days, contrary to your deceptive revisionist history. You're certainly doing your best to whore this story out and pretend it's legitimate. Apple does not need to respond to falsities, and Drudge has always been one for extreme sensationalism.

You have a tough case to make that Tim's views are hurting Apple, especially considering the performance of the company AFTER he came out.

You mean he has nothing to do with the sensational slant his shit site puts on everything. Why people would go there then if they could get the news off the AP or Reuters feeds, if he just "posts the news".

Drudge is a pisser site that deserve to taken down by anonymous from being an affront to "journalism" and integrity.

If there were proof that these things were rampant in the wild, I'd maybe get the slant. But, no. Its just complete garbage as usual.

Oh Matt from drudge. Right. What's on that site is a very loose definition of the word "news". If you're pretending that it's in anyway objective, sorry, that's laughable, no matter what your political ideologies. Drudge is tabloid trash, and it only has legitimacy by some because republicans like his political leanings and what he attacks.

I'll take a delay over a defective product any day.

Also, I am returning mine and my wife's. Absolutely wonderful product. After five days though, I found it hard to justify the spend right now. Money is tight. However I will say, I was not glued or hostage to my phone anymore and see nothing but success ahead for this category of device. We will be saving for v.2.0.

Thanks Brandon, I had forgotten about AMEX's extension.  Apple has always been great about repairs, and mean really great.  So I'm not expecting any issues, but it is v1.0...

To be fair Drudge doesn't just randomly post news. The site is heavily curated. Just like a liberal media sites are. But as I said before this WSJ story is front and center on Drudge's site for one reason only: to give Apple a black eye because Apple has become more political under Tim Cook's leadership.

This isn't concern trolling. This was one of the first stories on CNBC this morning. It's running non-stop on their scrolling news marquee. Stock is down 1% pre market after being down almost 1.5% yesterday. Drudge report gets eyeballs and I don't think he'd give two shits about the company had Tim Cook not decided to take Apple in a more political direction. If Tim Cook wants to pen editorials, fine, but he should be speaking on behalf of himself, not the company. It's not his company.

Wasn't Steve Jobs a donor who stayed in the Lincoln Bedroom as a guest of Clinton during that whole Republican-manufactured "scandal"?

One, it's his money, not yours. Two, the purchase will cost him less that the rose gold AppleWatch. Three, perhaps you have a valuation model that can explain to us why it makes no 'sense'? Four, what made it sound like he was 'bragging'?

Wow!... nidec the king of Fans...( industrial fans) i remember nidec from 20 years ago, their fans are "bomb proof" except noisy (of course, a fan's job is not to just move air, but to cool!... So sound is secondary)

BTW, AAC technologies is Dead... they certainly have earned some bad ju-ju. with F'ing up the taptic sensor..

WHEN all is said and done ALWAYS have Two sources for every part (golden rule for manufacturing ) only Intel breaks that rule... (And they even had to relent Because back in the day IBM wanted AMD to second source the x86 processor)...

it is too bad that nidec fans are not silent, compared to the PC fans that just "blow"...
(Noctua fan come close to nidec fans reputation )

He'll get his wish as the stock is down over 2% this morning. Amazing how the week Apple reports a great quarter the stock will probably be down close to 5%.

Grubers review notwithstanding...just because he had a faulty tactic engine doesn't mean it was from that supplier and not from the Japanese company.
With millions of watches shipping, there are bound to be some duds regardless where they come from.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if the trash rag "news" site Drudge is hyping this angle (clickbait) because of their ideological fervor against positions Tim Cook has taken recently.

Please someone explain how news about a defect found during manufacturing prior to watches actually being shipped is ' breaking news". It was reported that Apple did not ship any faulty taptic components. Again, how is this CNBC breaking news and why would the stock be down? Imagine if every company reported problems during manufacturing and it was reported as breaking news.
Its just a case of trying to find news about Apple where there isn't any.
