So the people on this thread complaining about me selling the watches to the highest bidder are just kidding? Or they aren't Apple fans?
Thanks to Apple, I've just taken my profit on the Apple watches I walked in off the street to buy same day and sold, and purchased 12 more shares of AAPL stock ... If I have time and the line's not too long, I may stop by Maxfield again this week and buy another one to sell on eBay and buy 6 more shares.
So nobody should be outraged over my ability to do this thanks to Apple's decisions on this launch. Good to know. Thanks. /s
You can do whatever the **** you want, but you seem strangely angry at Apple for enabling you to make this profit. If you thought it was so "wrong", you wouldn't abuse it and profit from it. Some weird psychology you have going on there. There's something really wrong with people like you, who complain about something while contributing to it.

Yet another example of the complete screw up with this launch like Maxfield in LA, which has had a steady stream of inventory every day since the launch. But hey it's made me a tidy profit! Thank you Angela.
I have pretty much own at one time just about everything Apple produced starting with my first computer which was an Apple II GS. I bought the first Newton, iPod, iPhone and iPad. I ordered 2 watches just after midnight on laugh day and I gave all my sibling Apple Gift Cards (7 of them) to upgrade their phones and buy an Apple Watches. I have yet to received the watches I ordered. This is the first time I have not received a new Apple product on launch day but it does not bother me knowing how difficult, popular and in demand the watches are. But after reading this story and others about Apple letting exclusive boutiques and persons sell and carry the watches, I can say for the first time in my life, I am DISAPPOINTED with Apple. It seems for the first time ever APPLE has treated it loyal and regular customers like peasants while catering to what some will call the self appointed and self centered new FAUX royalty. I never for once thought I would ever see this happen from a company that has always treated EVERYONE EQUALLY. I must say as I sit here reading this and another story about those who bought watches from these exclusive boutiques and scalping them, I am seriously thinking and will probably canceled my watch order just out of principle. I'm not jealous or mad at Apple but extremely DISAPPOINTED at the way I and others have been let down by a company that we had the utmost respect for! :-(
Well I think there is something wrong with that. Especially when coming to a site like this to brag about,
People flipping watches is just a function of supply and demand. No one "deserves" a watch, so huge markups on a limited supply of product is to be expected.

the people on this thread are complaining about scummy scalpers who harm consumers by raising the price of a good above retail. they are not expressing outrage at there being an inadequate amount of inventory available due to whatever manufacturing constraint arose, as you are insinuating we are.
but you know that. youve just exposed yourself, finally, to be nothing but an opportunistic troll who claims to hate a thing, only to come back and complain that there isn't enough of that thing. that's troll-talk. theres no mistaking it....you cant kid yourself or anyone here any longer. youre a troll, and your only intention on this site is to stir up shit via one bogus line or another.

There are people who post on this site whom I would be glad to see profit on buying and reselling Apple watches from Maxfield.
But not you.
Others didn't post twenty different made up problems with the Watch before it was even released. Others aren't saying that Apple "screwed the pooch" with this launch, and then turn around and parasitize it. Others don't act like an adolescent about Angela Ahrendts' role in the launch, thanking her for making them some money.
Actually, I don't believe that you've been selling the Watches on eBay at all. I think you're making it all up. Maybe you should give us a link to your ads.

this. the guy is a troll. i doubt hes done anything other than brainstorm new ways to bag on products and a company he cant stand. even his handle is a lie.

If he walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck...
Predictably, we have the misogynistic shitbags in this thread demanding Angela's head, as if they have a fucking clue what decisions she's made, what she's responsible for, and what is under her control. But hey, she's female, and Cook obviously hired her just to fill the female quota, right? I notice the same filthy trolls who claimed for month that this product would be a catastrophe that no one would want, are now pretending to be outraged that there's not enough supply to meet demand. Pathetic, lying, hypocritical cowards.
I'm sure Brlawyer is just itching to fan his hatred some more given the first opportunity.
Really sad to see people waiting for weeks to get their watch while others are buying them to flip them right away and make a fast buck. Disgusting. And even more disgusting to suggest that's what Apple wants.
I'm very angry about the fact that people can walk into stores and "generally get the model they want" while I'm still waiting for the preorder I placed at 12:02AM on the 10th. I personally think that with the exception of maybe the Edition models, no watches should be sold in retail stores until all of the day 1 preorders for that same model are filled.
If I lived in Paris, I'd have jumped on this and canceled my preorder, but alas, there's no such option in humble Dallas, TX.
I'm sure it wasn't an accident: The LA location and Paris. Not like it was Hoboken or Camden, NJ, or BFE, Nevada.

It's called being a sociopath. The troll in question posts incessantly for months about how the watch is ugly, serves no purpose, will fail, is the folly of Tim Cook, etc - and then turns around to complain that the launch was horrible, the supply management was horrible, and the retail strategy was horrible. That Apple is deliberately alienating hits customers. Then states that he has bought and sold a couple of said watches to make a profit, being happy about that, but saying that it is Apple's fault that he did said scalping!
The Apple reps only yesterday finally put a stop to much of the abuse by resellers, after two weeks of letting some of these guys buy multiple watches day after day. Maxfield allowed this to happen despite stated policies to the contrary, but Apple didn't do anything to stop it, despite it also violating their own policies. Customers in line now have to enter their information on an iPad to ensure they don't buy more than one watch.
Since Maxfield can't mark up the retail prices of the ?Watches like they do with their other merchandise, I would not be surprised to learn someone at the store was getting kickbacks from the resellers they were letting cut lines, and buy multiple watches.

So now you're going to put the staff at Maxfield under suspicion for profitably collaborating with scalpers, including the really cynical parasites like you present yourself as being?
Also:
"Apple reps only yesterday finally . . ." — I wonder if your braggart advertising had anything to do with this repellent decision that the reps had to take? If so, why don't you go back and take credit for it among your scalper colleagues?

They enabled it which is almost as bad.

Yup. I've made over $1500 off the two watches I bought.
Why are you lying? Don't you wanna have any credibility left? It's just obvious now that you're only here for trolling.
