Here is one more on how much GPU power my gs6 has and bud no app developers run games at 2.5k res and even at 1080p the gs6 has the most horsepower to run the games than any other phone.
That is also native app resolution of 1080p so there is nothing the actual game is missing or scaling.
The S6 Edge appears to be in great demand, but between the two devices, analyst are concerned that the 70 million number that is Samsung's target for the year won't be met. Yeah, someone is certainly buying them, but it isn't at a pace that will bring Samsung back to its heyday, and it isn't getting anyone to switch from iPhones.
Recent links aren't bullish on Samsung meeting its target.

Fare enough, I just posted my reply to counter act this ridiculous notion that the S6 is some kind of failure. Even if Samsung doesn't sell the amount they were hoping, it has still done better than the previous models.</quote>
For those unfamiliar, many demanding Android games, such as Grand Theft Auto (shown in DED's editorial), allow you to adjust the resolution.
So claiming that the iPhone
pushing 1,000,500 pixels beats a Galaxy pushing 3,686,400 pixels is just nonsense.
The gaming industry doesn't compare hardware like this, DED should be no exception.
Your cherry picking your benchmarks, of course a dual GPU 295x2, see that x2, means dual GPU, is faster the Titan X a single GPU card. If you look at the single core 290 benchmarks you can see that it is no match for the Titan. Personally I would buy the new 395x2 as it has 8gb of memory per GPU for a total of 16GB, better for 4k gaming and is cheaper than Titan Z.
What a bunch of endless muck! The only reason behind iOS games works "apparently" better than in Android devices is because the fkn games are optimized for the Software, piece by piece, brick by brick, devs optimize the game to the games can run in their little fit spaces with that low spec hardware that iphonetas have. But for good sake info hipsters wanna be, any one with two cells in their brains (obviosuly not apple costumers) can root the Android device and unlock the 30 fps lock that most devs put over Android games by the variety of devices.
How uneducated are you iOS fanboys? I like both iOS and Android, but spreading misinformation really pisses me off. You all say "Android sucks, it sucks for gaming and everything else when iOS is PERFECT in EVERY WAY" when you look at the article, see "better framerate on iPhone" and head straight to bashing Android.
If you bothered to do a little more research, you'd know that almost every game renders at 1080p on the S6, and 720p on the iPhone, causing the iPhone to have slightly better framerates. Also, the processor rendering the screen at 1440p causes dips too.
There is also a way to DRASTICALLY improve performance on the S6, by disabling DVFS (dynamic voltage scaling) which throttles the CPU when temps get too high, and doesn't make all that much difference in terms of heat output when running heavy games. Disabling it basically unlocks the processor, causing HUGE performance increases (http://www.theandroidsoul.com/how-to-improve-galaxy-s6-gaming-performance-by-disabling-dvfs-78927/)
ALSO, it's been proven through a series of other tests that the Galaxy S6 and a slew of other high end Androids perform better in terms of UI, day to day use, and overall speed. (http://wccftech.com/galaxy-s6-benchmarks/)
(http://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly/2015/04/01/iphone-6-galaxy-s6-speed-test/2/) In THIS article, he talks about resolutions, and about how this fight was unbalanced due to resolutions, RAM and CPU usage at the fault of the devs, and how . It's like seeing who can do more bench presses, a skinny dude benching 70 vs. a more muscular kid benching 250. The kid benching 70 is going to win obviously, but give the muscular kid a 70 or the skinnier kid a 250 and the muscular kid is going to win.
It's also a case of optimization.
So please, keep your fanboyish ways at bay before doing some research.

You can't say no one wants to own one when Samsung can't make them fast enough, someone is certaintly buying them, http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-04-24/samsung-said-to-accelerate-curved-s6-edge-output-as-demand-soars
