I own a pair of PowerBeats2 Wireless. If what is generally said about Beats is true, that they turn up the bass a lot, they have toned it down for this release. I don't hear any overpowering bass. I enjoy listening to my music on them.

Music files for me are not as sensitive as photos. I generally have a CD, a lossless copy and an iOS-compatible copy. There have been multiple times when all my music has disappeared from my iPhone owing to some update or something I did wrong. It didn't matter much since I simply re-connected to iTunes and manually copied it back.

With ?Music, I have had my artwork replaced on some files but have not lost any music. I still think that the positives of ?Music trump the negatives. It could be that my perspective is skewed, but that is because I never had any other streaming option until now. And I love Apple for offering it to me!

    OH. MY. GOD.

No kid is going to want to walk around campus in those old man headphones.  LOL.

They may sound better but Beats headphones are about having good sound and style.

Dude.  You are an old man.  Deal with it.

For 95% of kids wearing those 'ugly' headphones are not even an option, no matter how GREAT they sound.

What makes them "old man headphones"? Because they aren't in-ear phones or ear buds?

What upsets me is that I purchased a Mac Pro for $1999 at an Apple store on July 21st. Even bought the overpriced warrant for $350. And then TWO days later this offer starts.
The employee could've given me a heads up. Or Apple could've given me the Headphones as a sign of dedication to its customers. I have two Mac's, 3 IPADS 2 iPhones and 1 iPod. Plus I finally got my Mom and Dad to agree to move up to iPhones . I was gonna put them on my account

Oh, and now the same model is $1899. So not only did I lose out on the Headphones (which I know aren't as great as they claim, but still my son needs a pair of headphones as a requirement for 5th grade this year. I would've given him these to "show off" because he tends to be shy.

You'd think with all my dedication, and the thousands and thousands I spend on apple products, they would make a judgement call here and give me the headphones.
But apparently they won't do it. two freakin days.
I can tell you that I will not be signing up my parents for their phones, nor will I be purchasing any other Apple products in the future. I found Microsoft to be much more flexible in situations similar to this. While I enjoy all the apple products, PC and Android devices are getting better and better.
I know Im only one guy, but I will make sure everyone on my twitter and Facebook accounts know how crappy they treat their customers. That Salesmen could've said come back in two days.

I work for a TV station ,and have quite a few face books friends and twitter followers. Hopefully this negative feedback will help Apple reconsider their policy.. I could see if it was a month after. But two days. And the extra $100 I paid for it. Android/PC here I come soon again. Should've never left.

Don't blame Apple. You should have waited for the promotion as they do a promotion every year.

Did you try going back to the store and ask if they can do anything? I've heard of situations where they will honor a price change or promo if you are within a week.

Also, a lot of times the sales people in the stores don't know when something will happen. It;s part of the "secrecy" that Apple does, incl. with their own employees.

Apple have a 14 day return policy.  You should've said you'll return it and buy it again, they'd honour that and they'd probably just refund you to save themselves the hassle.

And? If you can afford a Mac Pro and you can find your way onto this forum you surely have the ability to know consumer protection laws.
Even bought the overpriced warrant for $350.

If it's overpriced then you wouldn't have bought it, unless you want to claim you were forced to do it being a necessity for survival.
The employee could've given me a heads up.

What now? Told you something they didn't know existed? People on this site are more privy to what Apple is going to do than the sales people at an Apple Store.
Or Apple could've given me the Headphones as a sign of dedication to its customers. […]

That's your fault for not getting the headphones and the price reduction once it happened.
I have two Mac's, 3 IPADS 2 iPhones and 1 iPod. Plus I finally got my Mom and Dad to agree to move up to iPhones . I was gonna put them on my account. […] You'd think with all my dedication, and the thousands and thousands I spend on apple products, they would make a judgement call here and give me the headphones.

    1) Judgement call? You mean selling you a product at a listed price that you walked into buy? Or do you mean the bad judgment of the sales clerk for not saying, "Because you say you're such a good customer and because you feel entitled to get free stuff because of your selfless-acts-of-purchase toward Apple I'm going to knock $100 off the price and steal a pair of headphones for you, both of which I have no authority to offer and will likely result in my losing my job and getting criminal charges filed against me."

    2) Seriously, fuçk anyone that thinks another company owes them anything more than what is on the sales agreement.
I can tell you that I will not be signing up my parents for their phones, nor will I be purchasing any other Apple products in the future. I found Microsoft to be much more flexible in situations similar to this. […] Android/PC here I come soon again. Should've never left.

And now we get to the heart of it: paid shill.
