this rumors has good and bad..

its not good for competitors also.. since people will just wait for new iPhone... it also kills the coming new Galaxy phone since people will just wait for new iPhone.

it also good for Apple.. since the competitors will be confused when new iPhone released.. right now.. it's obvious.. Sept.. month..

This seems doubtful. They just signed a bunch of people onto the iPhone Update Program, which allows for upgrades after 12 months. That plan is popular with people who upgrade every year.

Not only would rumors of an early release depress iPhone6s sales, but if it is released early, fewer consumers would upgrade to the iPhone7 because either they had too recently invested in an earlier model or they're still tied up via contract.   Because there are still many people on 2-year contract cycles, it makes much sense to release the phones at a consistent time of the year each year.

Hopefully Apple can give us something more than just a thinner rectangle. Some decent ergonomics would be appreciated, or even a slightly curved design that would be easier to hold. Apple needs to shake things up.

Do you copy and paste this story every year, or is it auto-generated by a server-side script?

Spoiler alert: The follow up to this will be a story about how "production delays" have pushed the iPhone 7 back "according to sources".

Yes, but if Kuo says it, they must print it and mention his track record. It gotta be in their agreement somewhere. Quid pro Kuo. ;)

I have yet to see any concept from Martin Hajek that wasn't either ugly and/or unrealistic. Let's not forget his AppleTV concept featured polished chamfered edges for the box and the remote.

Then after the iPhone 6 came out he changed it to this:

I don't know why everyone uses his stuff for illustrative purposes.
The iPhone concept looks way too much like the current model, but with that ugly bottom row around the home button. That shows he has less imagination than the Apple Design Team. In other words, I expect the one thing he's actually changed is the one thing that won't in the iPhone 7.

So, yeah, who hires this guy?

I have a feeling that the competition starting this rumor. This way people having thoughts of getting an iPhone 6S would hold back and wait. ;)

Got news for you. iPhone 7 is not going to look dramatically different.

If true, there will be plenty of supply-side chatter, leaks, and rumors ramping up 60-90 days before start of manufacturing. In other words, we should start seeing activity in March-April 2016 if a June launch was planned. Of course, Apple just blew their technology load on the iPhone 6s with 3D Touch and all, so I hope they got surprises in store for the "iPhone 7"

We get this "early iPhone!" rumor EVERY fucking year. And not once has it come true. How does it benefit Apple to move up the release date? Or are they supposed to move it up every single year? Apple will have no problem with iPhone 6S demand or sales.

Exactly - chances of an early iPhone release are zero. Next iOS announced at WWDC and then they give enough time for some/most/enough of the bugs to shake out and release it in September along with the new devices.

This story, like every year, is right out of the school of 'just making stuff up'.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the next iPhone will most certainly NOT be released early because Apple NEVER releases the iPhone early.

You're welcome...I just spared you from reading Kuo's nonsense.

Apple never released 2 different sizes iPhones until last year. Never seems to be a short time with Apple.

If the 4-inch will look anything like the new iPod Touch, I'd say it's is a no-brainier: the only issue will be whether Apple ends up with 103% or 104% of industry profits.

If you buy into the upgrade program, do you care about c**p news like this? Oops I said news I meant "true tumors". Oops I mean rumors. Forget all that about tumors.

Right because the US isn't a major market for Apple.
