Yes but the iPhone does have killer apps

Obviously not, given that they’re making the incidence of rape, violent crime, and theft skyrocket, as well as being responsible for the terrorist attacks.

The former Homeland Security agent believes it will be nearly impossible for the U.S. to keep ISIS terrorists from infiltrating the group.

"Even if there is a proper relationship with the SyriaN government, I've got to assume because of the civil war over there, their records and their data bases are in shambles," MacMartin said. "So you're not going to get proper records. You're not going to get birth certificates. You're not going to get work histories. You're not going to get their versions of social security numbers."

As counterterrorism professionals from the FBI told us in a hearing of the Homeland Security Committee earlier this year, we have no way of knowing who exactly is attempting to leave Syria and enter other countries.

    You were saying?

The fact that you guys are so easily duped by the nonsense you hear is really quite sad. Actually, even scary.

The irony isn’t even funny. It’s terrifying.

The people don’t want it. We have no obligation to do it. CLOSE THE BORDERS TO THEM. End of story.

Next year, the Islamists expect to be at full-out war with the West, as part of their twenty year plan (which has gone off swimmingly up to now); this refugee push is just being used as a seeding operation.

The US government was wrong on Al-Queda. Wrong on Iraq. Wrong on Afghanistan. This president in particular was wrong on the Arab Spring, wrong on Syria, wrong on Russia, wrong on the Muslim Brotherhood, wrong on ISIS, wrong on pulling out of Iraq, and continues to be wrong on just about everything. Explain to me why he or the government is 'right' now?

Huh. Too bad people mocked this back in 2011.

I’ve actually not heard anything about organized or long-term plans. Do you have a source for that?

Explain to me why... ...the government is ‘right’ now?

Yeah, that happens pretty rarely these days. <img class=" src="http://forums-files.appleinsider.com/images/smilies//lol.gif" />

Honestly, I’m fundamentally against Beck because he’s blind to what’s actually going on. He conflates and confuses things in the same way that leftists do. He suffers from a cognitive dissonance that grates on his ability to present truthful information, in many cases. But that’s beyond the scope of the thread.

It is unwise of me to post anymore, because last I checked, about 1.5 weeks ago, I was banned, and now it seems that I am not.

Maybe there's a new moderator in town, because I will most likely get multiple infractions again and my posts deleted if I post anything, so I'm not going to waste my time sharing my thoughts and insights on this topic, only to see them deleted.

Perhaps I will post again sometime in 2016 if I deem the forum atmosphere to be safe and fair. :smokey:

US national elections, and the debates therein, have global consequences for better or worse. Especially as far as the current "worldwide terrorist situation" is concerned.

A discussion about technology and terrorism is very appropriate. The constant wrangling between Democratic and Republican supporters is not really something the rest of the world cares about enough to warrant coop ting a thread for it. There are enough forums for political dialogue so I don't think the Apple world needs yet another, except as it relates to technology. Are we going be discussing the internal politics of every significant country on earth?

Did I miss a big news item? If so, please cite?

Or are you referring to the handful (so far) that were not classified as secret at the time sent, but subsequently reclassified years later? If it's those, then I am not sure you're being entirely truthful here.

Really? You want to play a game of semantics? I'm not a lawyer, not even one on the internet but common let's be real. You're telling me in the time she was Secretary of State she never received or sent one email with classified information? Not one? With a staff of how many she couldn't be bothered to carry two devices? And you're believing all that?

In reference to NolaMacGuy's post, if this were a republican instead of Hillary the media and all her zombie followers would be frothing at the mouth.

Read this article and swap Clinton with a republican, let's say Trump since he's such a popular guy now, you mean to tell me NolaMacGuy's (and many others on AI) head wouldn't explode? If you said no then you aren't being honest.

It blows my mind when someone (NolaMacGuy) says republicans are all lying evil stupid people, when you have someone like "Action Jackson" Hillary Clinton gets a free pass. That's bad for the truth and bad for this country.

Guess what many republicans are lying scum and so are most democrats. I think a lot of people are starting to catch on and the reason why (supposed) outsiders are so popular on the republican side. They would be too on the democratic side except Hillary is the anointed one. The two puppets that go up on stage with her during debates will get their bone if and when she gets elected.

I apologize in advance for typographical errors, I wrote this on my iPhone and even on a 6S Plus it's a pain in the ass to proof read it but I hope you get my point.

Please. Be serious. When it comes to technology, security, economy, markets, military, reach, culture, consumer products, and media there's the US and then then a set of countries (about a dozen or so) that have aspirations to 'significance.'

After all, you're on a site with majority US membership and readership devoted to a US company and its products. Don't get so huffy if the conversation wanders into policy and politics that affect not just that company and its products, but similar companies all over the world.

Moreover, there are many posts here that try to get past D v. R aspect of it, and try to address broader policy implications.

I could have sworn that we had confirmation that not only did she send classified data with her private server, but that she also deleted classified data on the server before turning it over to the authorities after signing a legally-binding document stating the opposite.

I couldn't honestly care less about Republicans or Democrats. I form my opinions -- and not only try to post, but also respond to posts -- based on evidence.

I also couldn't care less about wordplay and semantics. A complete waste of time.

There are multiple investigations under way to explore whether Clinton violated laws. There are a bunch of congressional committees looking into it. If the evidence leads to her having violated laws or secrets, fine. I'll wait for it.

What I have trouble with is random posts on the internet that are nothing more than innuendo and speculation on important matters. Like I said, if you have actual evidence, cite it. Otherwise, do the decent thing and move along.

One more thing. If you have problems with @NolaMacGuy, take it up with him. I am neither his keeper nor his spokesman.

The fact that you could have "sworn to something" amounts to......exactly zilch. Zip. Nada. Zero.

Provide a (credible) cite. Put up or shut up.

Not like you could have just taken what I said and searched for it or anything. That’s obviously an impossibility.

    “Burden of...”

Don’t care. My concern was to simply expound upon the data already presented. You’re not asked–nor expected to give–citations for all of the statements you make. You make statements in passing.

Anyway, it looks like I must have merged “felony violation of her oath of office regarding the handling of classified information” and “no one actually knows what the deleted e-mails–in the process of being recovered–actually contain.” Yet. We’ll see. Something tells me that Bernie will be the Democrat nominee by default only. Though if it comes to that, Webb might see it before he does.

What basis in reality is there for your comment? Republican candidates have actually endorsed the idea of rounding up Muslims and branding them like the NSDAP did in Germany in WWII.

When has Hillary suggested anything about suing manufactures over terrorism? That idea comes from Manhattan's District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr., who isn't running for president.

Of course not. But if called on it, some might consider it to be an intellectually honest thing to do. Unless no such cite backing up a wild claim exists....

what ignorant nonsense. there was one Syrian passport in Paris, but the same attacker also had a non Syrian. which means one was bogus, and you don't know which. and it also means attackers could use bogus passports to enter a country not as a Syrian.

some of you should really just stick to computers.

please quote me where I said that. I've noted that the current crop of GOP candidates are a circus.

and I give no free passes. I would not (edit!) vote for Clinton since she tried to hide official correpomsance on a private email server, to circumvent FOI requests. she also feels Snowden is a traitor, so **** her.

I'm not a democrat, but at least their candidates aren't infested with insane people.

So the shouts of Allahu Akbar were accompanied by Vive le France, then?

The point is that these countries have neither the obligation nor the responsibility to accept refugees and that some are nearly collapsing underneath them. It’s absolute insanity and it MUST stop.
