Do what? The Dock already easily pops to the right. The translucent windows you see are provided by Konfabulator.

The translucent window in the bottom left is PTHiTunesNotifier... a far more elegant solution than Konfab for iTunes control and notification, IMO.

It only pops up when a song changes.

I love this app... have iTunes set to random, and set my F10, F11 and F12 keys to play/pause, skip back, and skip forward respectively. I can quickly change songs or stop playback immediately, without having to actually go into iTunes. The little temporary pop-up with the song info as it changes is cool too.

In term? Do you mean in terminal? If so, do you mean have a background picture in the terminal window itself, or do you want to set your desktop background through the terminal rather than through system preferences?

By the way, I arts-ified that picture and this is the new one for my eMac:

  • Reply 878 of 1795
