The pic is from her website, I just "orange-fied" it in Photoshop to suit me. Oh, and cropped it to a PowerBook-friendly 1280x854.

Wow...it's being changed. I guess I grabbed it in time. The above link takes you to a single static page, talking about a "new" site coming soon.

But just a week or so ago, it was a full site with a section of desktop pics in various resolutions (where I grabbed mine).

Don't tell me you don't know about Clint Malarchuk!!

    Quote:

Malarchuk's Jugular Cut: Despite his impressive NHL career statistics, Malarchuk might be best known for an on-ice accident that could easily have claimed his life. It happened during Buffalo's March 22, 1989, game vs. St. Louis. Malarchuk, who was playing goal, was caught in the neck by the Blues' Steve Tuttle's skate as Tuttle was upended in front of the Sabres goal by Buffalo defenseman Uwe Krupp. The skate got caught under Malarchuk's mask and above his protective collar. It slashed his jugular vein, causing blood to gush out rapidly from a six-inch cut on the right side of his neck. Malarchuk flung off his mask and collapsed to the ice in a pool of his own blood, fearing that he was about to die. Malarchuk was helped off the ice under his own power, and Sabres trainers stitched him up quickly in the dressing room before sending him to the hospital.

The footage is unreal, I have it burned into my mind. Must have seen it a hundred times on TV...

My northern friend, I live in the US of A. If it ain't football, basketball or baseball, it don't exist.

I *vaguely* recall that now, but haven't seen any images or footage. Yikes.

NOTE: THIS DID NOT OCCUR DURING A FIGHT

murbot, you are SO not right. First the artfully posed lesbian (yeah, right) porn...then segue to the hockey guy bleeding half to death. Well, WHICH IS IT?

    You scare me.

What's next, a toll booth operator with a Snickers bar stuck in his ass, wearing a fez and shooting a cap gun? May as well be...
