until the other day i was wondering if you were the real mandolux or you just liked the site enough to make that your name. i've always enjoyed your site!
the photo on the background is in orava region .. really pretty mountains in northern slovakia, close to the polish border. and hte hiking paths are not well marked, so i nearly got lost to poland with some spaniards.
Well, it's clearly a TiBook, but that's all I can be sure about for the moment. And a relatively early one I think...didn't they start putting the ports on the sides towards the Ti's last days?
That X-Ray picture is of the first model of Ti-book. The ports didn't go on the side until the AlBook. Later models had different heat pipes. I used to own a 500Mhz PBG4 and I remember that picture hitting the web, and how it matched my computer's internals. (heat pipe especially). Also, all later models had slots in the rear door. The first version did not.

Splinemodel is right. It's an age-old scan of an age-old TiBook.
I've never had a problem with my iBook at the airport. The only two holdups right after 9/11 were a pair of nail clippers with a 1" file (they broke off the file) and some wet stinky socks after a transatlantic flight (they realized my socks were relatively harmless upon closer inspection). But the iBook and its battery, never a problem.
As for a desktop, my current one is posted below (click thumbnails for full size):
Good times in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My own Cloudhopper (one-man hot air balloon) is not in the picture, since I was crewing for the pink one that day.

Hopefully not to the TSA screeners.

I took that at Arlington Cemetery on a school trip I took to D.C. last week. We spent five days in the area.
