"I have this table in my new house," West said, offering a parable. "They put this table in without asking. It was some weird nouveau riche marble table, and I hated it. But it was literally so heavy that it took a crane to move it. We would try to set up different things around it, but it never really worked.
"I realized that table was my ego. No matter what you put around it, under it, no matter who photographed it, the douchebaggery would always come through."
There are articles from a year ago saying he had gone into debt with his fashion line:
This is his Yeezy brand of clothes and shoes where Ye is short for Kanye. He called it a billionaire sport, which is probably why he is randomly asking billionaires to invest. The family makes tens of millions every year but they spend a lot. If they have any debt, they still have tens of millions in assets. He has since said that he just wants to be spending other people's money rather than his own:
"for anyone that has money they know the first rule is to use other people's money"
I think what's just as bad as his offensive messages on twitter is the fact that they get tens of thousands of likes from his fans, even the comments about Africa. This happens a lot with celebrities where fans are just willing to overlook or support offensive behaviour.
These kind of celebrities are really trying to maintain themselves as brands because that's a part of their income. They attach product endorsements to this:
This is why they are constantly on social media with their phones trying to maintain their audience interest like a TV channel running 24/7 always selling commercials. The Kardashians wear clothes from Kanye's fashion line and they've been promoting Tidal too. It's one of the downsides to the mobile internet and having cameras everywhere that it provides them a platform. If at any point in a day you are thinking about what any of them are doing, whether you like them or loathe them, they have succeeded in getting your attention and they monetize this.
Oh, man. You're right... he's 38. Which indicates he's even dumber than I thought.
Also, "my generation" didn't cause the financial collapse (that was the Baby Boomers, aka Clinton, generation). My generation (at least some of us) actively protested and voted against the policies leading up to and following and I sure as hell didn't vote for Obama (or McCain or Romney, for that matter).
Kanye West is still a dummy.
if you didnt vote for any of those guys, then you didnt vote in a general election for 8 years. that makes you an f.n. idot. More so than kanye, because you should know better.
I'm an "f.n. idiot" for not voting for the lousy candidates that were served up to me? That's an odd point of view. I would've happily voted for "None of the Above" if that candidate had been on the ballot.
"All you dudes in San Fran play rap music in your homes but never help the real artists..." West wrote in a series of tweets. "You'd rather open up one school in Africa like you really helped the country... if you want to help... help me."
I hope he's got some secret philanthropic plans because otherwise this really sounds pretty ridiculous.
IMHO, he is far to narcissistic to be even close to philanthropic.

He seems to be delusional. But at least he married into a family of deluded idiots who are supported by millions of other deluded idiots. Birds of a feather.
It's almost worth getting his tweets just to have a good laugh at all the dumb things he says. I don't play his garbage. I call it all RAP-CRAP. I don't even believe he's 53 million in debt. It's just more B.S. of his.
Look at all the attention he's getting.
P.S. No, I'm not going to get his tweets. Just what he would need, more followers on tweeter when he really needs to be ignored.

Exactly. I'm not thinking even for a moment that he is delusional or whatever - all that "douchebaggery" is staged, some of it even carefully planned. That's really his major selling point (beside being Kardashian). I don't see any value in those selling points - but hey, they seem to be selling reasonably well. Such is the world we live in...
Saw him by accident in American Idol's final season - another staged stint where he appeared in front of judges in that initial selection phase (or whatever they call it). Man, his performance was atrocious... and it really helps to hear people singing without music or any electronic assistance... I was thinking, this was supposed to be publicity stint, but it really backfired in exposing him as talent-less buffoon he really is, much as I was concerned.

Boy, I hope people see through this.
