The truly scary thing is what Trump and the Republicans will do when Hillary is elected.
They're literally going to go crazy.

They're cornered.  Their base is shrinking.  They entire civilized world is laughing at their squalor.
And we all know that a cornered animal is the most dangerous.

I find it funny that the Republican party is in such disarray, they flat-out refuse to accept the fact that the reason Trump is in the position that he's in is because the PEOPLE have voted him there.

Insulting Trump is basically insulting the majority of Americans that have voted for Trump.  I'm no fan of Trump, but I do admire how Trump was able to expose the Republican candidates as the frauds they are.  Shame on all of them for trying to keep the status-quo.  The political system has been broken for so long, that someone like Trump needed to make an appearance to really show everyone how bad it is.

That being said... I cannot stand any of the candidates - both Democrats and Republicans.  Out of the hundreds of millions of Americans, this is the best we can do?  It's an embarrassment.

Ha!! Right wing republican nut jobs create a monster; now they want the left wing Calufornia tech community to help them destroy it.
Better be some major quid pro quo here, fellas

Tim Cook, Larry Page, and Elon Musk should fund the Libertarian presidential candidate.

The majority of Americans have not voted for him. The majority of GOPers have not voted for him either.

    Clinton, Trump, mass extinction.

I would say that your almost right on that statement.
If Trump gets to PREZ then you need to move to Canada. Just saying ...
Any concerned Socialists, Progressives, Democrats, Marxists, etc., please do move to Canada. You've harmed this country enough.
So many of them have promised to leave already. Some have even claimed to have already bought tickets, but that's probably a lie, which is nothing new for those kind of people.

This list alone is an awesome reason to vote for Trump. All of these people have pledged to leave the USA. The USA will become slightly greater after some of them are gone, for good.

    Al Sharpton
    Whoopi Goldberg
    Cher
    Miley Cyrus
    Raven Symone
    Samuel Jackson

This list will no doubt get bigger as time goes on. :#

I suggest you look up the word 'plutocracy.' If you're fine with it and think it's just business-as-usual, that's well and good. I am not. And I don't.

(Incidentally, I don't consider myself to be part of the "99%", so it's not like I have an axe to grind against the"1%").

The headline does not match the story. The headline says they plotted to defeat trump, the story says that many expressed hope that he would be defeated.

As soon as I saw the name Bill Kristol attached to this, I lost the last shred of credibility to this story. This piece is almost certainly 100 percent made up. Kristol is a fabulist with a remarkable track record of being completely wrong about everything. The photo in this article was probably taken when someone read Cook this article.

Haha, the elites are getting more and more desperate. How pathetic.

Any fascist elites who believe that they have the right to dictate who the common man votes for should probably all move to North Korea, as they would fit in much better there.

So you've got a problem with "fascist elites", but you're green-lighting an amoral, sociopathic bigot.

PS. Love how conservatives spend 364 days a year claiming the HuffPo is a liberal yellow-sheet tabloid rag, and one day defending its journalism the minute they write something that feeds into the Drumpf zombies' paranoid narrative. *The secret elites! They're out to get him!* Oh wait, they invited a print columnist from HuffPo to cover their "secret" conference! Oops! Man, some people are really, really gullible.

I suspect you have no idea what a conservative is. Try harder next time.

You're always %100 behind Cook. Will you side with Cook or defend the jackass here?

Unfortunately the common man is so misinformed and pretty gullable, considering they are flocking to a reality TV start business guy with the tact of a bad used car salesman who would do or say anything to get the sale. In this case the their vote. Anyone outside of the bubble can easily look up his interviews from 4 years ago and everything he says now was the complete opposite. He really gets off on how his supporters are so easily fooled and even jokes about it openly and they don't even get it. He is saying whatever it takes to get votes. Let's hope they have a plan to wake up these people to see he is playing on their fears and hate and using it against them.
If anything the plan was to INFORM people not some conspiracy to rig votes or fund a lie campaign.

To be fair there's no facts in this report and it's trying hard to be a conspiracy/clickbait piece.

Not true. I have sometimes been against certain things that Apple/Tim Cook has said or done in the past. Numerous times, as a matter of fact.

When it comes to the encryption thing, I am 100% on Tim Cook's side and I do not agree with Trump.

When it comes to the election, I am 100% on Trump's side, and I do not agree at all with Tim Cook, if this story is indeed true.

So you've got a problem with "fascist elites", but you're green-lighting an amoral, sociopathic bigot.
The majority of bigots nowadays are found on the left, as they are the ones who do not believe in free speech, the ones who often attempt to silence and censor other people's free speech. Good examples of this are various leftist groups on nationwide campuses that constantly attempt to shut down guest speakers that they don't like, and leftist protest groups such as BLM, who are basically leftist brownshirts whose agenda includes intimidating other people, violently attacking people and shouting and screaming like a bunch of lowlife thugs.

At the end of the day though, all of us are probably a little bit bigoted, and I am definitely bigoted towards certain groups of people that are truly disgusting, such as illegals, terrorists, leftist fascists who are anti-free speech and don't like the USA, and a few other groups probably. I am not interested at all in what these people have to say, and the only thing that they can expect is to be utterly crushed and destroyed. The Donald is my bigot, and I agree with him on many matters, and he certainly has my vote.

This sound like a mystery/action/spy drama - after one guy!  I read many of these pulp paperbacks but now it is actually playing out!  Conspiracy?  Establishment seens to be running scary!  Tuning in on CNN and Fox, the theme is the Establishment doing everything they can to defeat Trump!  It is exciting to watch!  I only seeing Trump on The Apprentice and on varies interview shows.  Trump seems to be under a massive attack by the establishment in Florida, Michigan and a few other states!  Super Packs are going to spending around $60 million in ads through the 15th! If Trump can come through after that, he has my vote!

$60 million is nothing compared to the approximately $150 million that Bush already blew, trying to take out Trump, and failing miserably. What a massive waste of money! I hope that all of his donors are extremely pissed and fuming. And what did that $150 million get him? Nothing at all, except for a disgraceful, premature exit from the race. Let them waste another $60 million! Be my guest! Money right down the drain! :#
