Naturally you'll have evidence that social democracies like those in Scandinavia are systematically more corrupt than, say, the local, state and federal government of the USA.

Of course you do, it's obvious.
Comparing political and social attitudes between countries is ultimately a waste of time. If something is widely agreed to "work" in Scandanavia, it is not germane to the situation in the US, which is historically, socially and politically very different.

As an outsider with no sense of perspective, you are free to argue this point and litter said arguments with irrelevancies and ad hominem attacks.
Socialism is evil and doomed to corruption, but don't try and use any actual real world examples because that's just not relevant.

As an [irrelevancy] with [ad hominem attack] I'm certainly free to use irrelevancies and ad hominem attacks. Bit would be rude not to, since that's the way you fellows operate.

You're an educated person and as a citizen of the EU, you should have abundant firsthand experience with the many failures of socialism.

And the many successes.  And the many failures of free market capitalism.   Maybe that's my lack of sense of perspective, clouding my judgement with an understanding that nothing involving people is ever going to be perfect, except in intention.

In Scandinavia we are for solidarity, free health care, school, residential home and much more that is good for the society as a hole. We always rank at the top for, equality, highest quality in life, happiest and so on. And we are Free.
Somebody is paying for your free healthcare. It ain't really free.
Yes the tax we pay gives all people these benefits. If you took some of the tax money you pay for the military, you could better fund the school, healthcare, infrastructure and so on.
