Apple adds First National Bank of Texas, 22 other US banks & credit unions to Apple Pay
Apple Pay on Tuesday gained support for 23 additional U.S. financial institutions, filling in some of the country's increasingly narrow coverage gaps.
As has become standard for American expansions, the new banks are typically regional institutions serving a limited audience. There are some exceptions however, such as the First National Bank of Texas, which has branches in many parts of the state ranging from major cities like Austin and Dallas through to smaller places like Bryan. Despite its name, the bank also has a smaller number of branches in Arizona and New Mexico.

Apart from the U.S. and Russia, Apple Pay is currently available in Australia, Canada, France, Switzerland, the U.K., New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, mainland China, and Hong Kong. Spain should be added by the end of the year.

PNC 'promised' corporate card inclusion to Apple Pay back in 2014. Has not happened
Just curious.
This drive thru allows interaction with tellers inside the bank without having to go inside the bank using vacuum tube canisters and intercom systems.
Between ATM's and pumping your own gas, that was really the start of self serve. I still remember the transitional phase with self service and full service lanes at gas stations. Or that back in high school when I started driving you could at times get gas for under $1 at the cheap places.
While it's great to keep Inc adding more and more banks. I'd like you also see more and more major chains supporting Apple Pay. Does no good if it works for your bank but few places you shop at.
