    Awww sorry to hear that.

And as just as Apple was on the cusp of releasing their new television in the next year or so...

Even if his numbers and predictions could be hit or miss, I always gave him credit for being one of the only outspoken analysts who believed in Apple back when almost everybody else just saw them as an ant in Microsoft's enormous shadow. Eventually, even the most skeptical (e.g. Katy Huberty) came around to his point of view--as it became impossible to disagree--and some managed to come up with better forecasts, but anybody who listened to him ~15 years ago has made a whole lot of money since then.
    Agree

Muster may have been off on the details and timing but his overall big picture view of Apple was 100% correct
LOL. The man is a buffoon and has been a leading counter-indicator of Apple's plans. He should be kept far from prognosticating now and in the future.

The man correctly told the market to stick with Apple in late 2012/early 2013 when everyone was saying Apple was doomed and Samsung would kill them off.

Specifics and timing don't matter for long term investing. If you are a day trader then maybe  you should be mad at Muster. But most of his theories about the iPhone dominance has come true.
Anyone with even a passing familiarity with the so-called "smartphone" market could've made the same prediction. Munster fires his birdshot in a wide pattern:  http://search-app.fortune.com/?q=gene+munster

Gene has a lengthy record of making goofy predictions:

His track record of predictions is out there for anyone to review.
