    DAMB.

This looks real. Looks like iPhone8 will have touchID on the back. YUCK.

makes me wonder what Tim Cook does with that $10 billion R&D budget? Probably spends half of it on his dumb ass social crusades.
You came from little sense to non-sense and now, beyond tolerable level. You judge the CEO of the most profitable company in the world who just led his company stock to a record high level. Do me a favor: STFU.

I think the design shows inductive charging on the back, not touchID. TouchID will be integrated into the front screen at the bottom, very similar to the TouchID on the new MacBook Pro.
That's a good guess. If it were a rear fingerprint scanner, I don't think they'd centre it that way. It's far more natural centred, but higher up.
Agree. If it's in the back, it should be right at Apple logo for the index finger to reach.

Calm down folks.  I've actually used a Google Nexus 6P.  The finger print scanner on the back is no big deal at all.  It is just as accessible if not more convenient than having it on the front.
BS. Most people don't place the phone face down. How can they unlock it with Touch ID? What about when they dock it? Don't tell me that they need to enter the Password which defeats the purpose of Touch ID. BTW, many people use long alphanumeric passwords now, not 4 digits anymore.
To sum up, Touch ID in the back is beyond stupid. Maybe entire Android users never dock their phone or put down their phone in normal way but face down.

It was easy to hold the phone with one hand and move your finger to the back side and touch the senor. You can not do this as easily with the iphone with the bottom at the bottom front.

LOL.You just won the Troll of the Day award.
How the hell did iPhone community unlocked or used Home button so far, with the second hand? Your statement is utterly dumb. I would bet over 90% of iPhone users use only 1 hand to pull the phone out of the pocket and unlock it with the same hand.

This is amazing how far Apple has gone down the incompetency path. Touch ID in the back of the phone. I do think that this is something Phil Schiller with all his sense of innovation could figure out. The success rate he has is amazing.

You're missing the bigger picture if the rumor of retina scanning and facial recognition is to be believed. Those technologies will be much more attractive to a user if TouchID is harder to use.
