If by rubbish you actually mean "are the inspiration for all the knockoffs who immediately copied them", sure.
Avon lies all the time to make a so called point, comes with the times. If enough lies are piled we get a great big straw man; that and false equivalency to push a both sides argument, are the most in vogue fallacies. People used to be spare in their use but with the troll culture and alias in chief at the top... it's a continuous barrage now.
apple has been the one introducing new Colors that everyone then copies, gold, rose gold, jet black, whatever... its only mondane if the word has no meaning to someone.
LOL. Troll in Chief! Love it!
Even black, be it Jet, pitch, night or whatever is boring nowadays. Any colour becomes boring after a while. Rose gold, space grey and absolutely anything that has not changed in a while becomes boring and other options come into play. Phones, in spite of their obvious design limitations, are often fashion statements, and while many end up in cases, the colour and finish are a key part of the statement.
I hope we don't get a yawn fest when the colours and finish are announced.
And if you think I have lied about absolutely anything, just post the details and I will gladly set you straight.
I love the new superficial you!
Don't worry, give me a couple of minutes and I'll move on to posters who can provide substance, accuracy, and a superior "key part of the statement" that you sadly lack.
Ok, I love you too but you didn't actually have anything to say about what I actually said.
Do you also find black, space grey, rose gold etc old hat? If not, why not? Do you think they are somehow 'iconic'? Do you think Apple will introduce new colour options?
Substance? We're talking about colours! Accuracy? It's a rumour! Key part? Erm, read my post. Colour options.
The article starts with 'copper coloured iPhone....'
Or were you just spouting off about something that actually has nothing to do with the thread?
I think the front is more suspect. I have a hard time believing Apple would offer a white front given the prominence of the camera and IR sensors, let alone the notch.
Given that they already do it, I can see them continuing to be that stupid.
If by rubbish you actually mean "are the inspiration for all the knockoffs who immediately copied them", sure.

It's a simple question because, let's be honest, the article is very clear, as rumours go. Would it really be all that hard to just give your opinion without all the personal stuff?

Really?
You clearly aren't interested in any purchase of an iPhone according to your comment history here at AI, so yeah, it's superficial on your part to be concerned about Apple's color choices.
Me, I don't care about the color as a fashion statement, I'm fine with gray, and a black cover.
If by rubbish you actually mean "are the inspiration for all the knockoffs who immediately copied them", sure.

So spin the little wheels, spin, spin, spin... push the tiny goalpost... Nice effort there. Should I read this meta "comment" as final or wait for the third spin cycle and see if all the wrinkles have come out?
And yeah, next time you lie or distort anything like you did here; I'll shovel the load right back out. Not that it will make a difference; it never does. Your "well" (sic) never runs dry.
No need to wait for a 'next time' when I supposedly always lie. If that were really the case, you would have a bucketful of lies to go on and would gleefully shovel it back at me.
Of course, that isn't the case at all. Who is trolling who, here?
And for the case at hand, would you really be excited to see Apple announce yet another round of space grey (or some kind of variant) this September or October?
God no! It's time to move on IMO.
And while we're at it, they can get rid of the white cabling too. Have you seen any of the cool nylon (or whatever it actually is) cabling out there? The white was ok for the iPod boom times. Not now. Just like the 'i' terminology. Time to go. I hope the expensive iPhone breaks that naming convention and sets things up for a new age sans the 'i'.
I told you already,.... Playing dumb huh... Dealt with online trolls since 1986; so I got a solid grasp on the term and who fits... Tired of BS artists who moonlight as button pushers. Better put me on ignore and I'll do the same cause I've had enough of your crud.

All true. I've dumped him in my Ignore list. The only time I happen to read his ramblings are when someone quotes them.
I'd probably go for the Jet Black again. My 7 Plus just looks gorgeous.
Then again, while I initially had reservations of the Red version because the front was White, I loved it when I saw it in person. I've gotten it for my wife and she loves it too. So I may buy a Red one.

Clearly? No! Not at all.
I have stated on more than one occasion that I will be part of the supercycle this year although I won't be paying over 1000€ for the 8.
I have make an appointment with Apple as the iPhone 6 now goes from an 80% charge to instant shutdown (no warning) in around five to ten minutes, depending on use.
Repair could be as much as 110€ and might mean the phone being out of action for up.to a week.
Depending on the cause of the problem, I might put purchase off, but since the day I bought it, this year was earmarked as upgrade year.
So, you're happy with grey. Do you think Apple's marketing department will want to break into a more dynamic colour spread? There have been moves into bright colours (almost like when the iMac went candy coloured) by some vendors seeking to exploit the fashion statement angle.
After doubting about that option when the P10 came out I've since come around to the idea after seeing a sapphire Honor un personaje.
Possibly the nicest colour I've seen on a phone to date although photos don't do it justice.
I think it would be a good move for Apple but hope the rose gold gets the boot forever and, as I said earlier, copper could actually be cool if the tone and finish is right.
If by rubbish you actually mean "are the inspiration for all the knockoffs who immediately copied them", sure.

Every frackin' phone looks like an iPhone now.
A coherent move. That's what the list is for.
As for all phones looking looking like iPhones, that's just not true.
At the end of July I was in MediaMarkt and there were over 80 phones on display. Very, very few of them looked like iPhones.
And when I saw 'few' I mean far less than ten and of those ten, three were actually real iPhones!

You didn't tell me already. That's impossible because what you are claiming simply isn't true. If it were, you would have rubbed it in my face.
I have no reason to ignore you. Your posts are as valid as everyone else's. Sometimes I don't agree with them but I've never falsely accused you of anything. Nor will I do so.
As for yourself, just do as you see fit. It's really as simple as that.

and I would be totally shocked and devastated if this turns out to be real.
(even in a low Rez / poor lighting it shouldn't look that bad.)
Are you saying it was all just one big mistake?
