My favorite that I've owned was my B&W..the start of the best case made ever for a desktop. The case design for the most part has lasted many years with only minor modification to this day.
I'd still like a cube
The TAM will always have a special place in my heart, as well as the cube. However I have to say that up to this point, I am still in love with my 17" imac.

I was so overwhelmed and amazed at the fact that what my iMac 800 Superdrive can do, a PowerBook in such a negligable ammount of space can do too. Steve Jobs' "computer in a book" idea is now reality.

The best computer I have ever owned was the PowerBook G4 400 (Rev. A). That thing practically became a part of my body. But the irrational side of me sold it on eBay so I could move up to the latest and greatest PowerBook G4...unfortunately, you shouldn't mess with something that works well for you. There was something Apple did to it.
I will say, however, that the Mac I'm typing on now - a PowerMac G4 933 - has served me well and is probably tied with that PowerBook G4 I once owned.
Definitely not the Mac I'm typing on now [cough] Tangerine iMac 333 [cough]. I would say the Classic and G4 Cube for desktop; iBook clamshell and TiBook for 'Book.
I am putting a vote in for the Cube at number one. I just like it a lot. (Needless to say, I'm an owner).
Second up is the Powerbook 180c. My dad managed to 'aquire' one of these machine from his work years ago (they forgot about it ). It was truely one of the best machines I have used. The 33Mhz '030, with maxed out 14mb RAM IIRC. Mmmmm.
I'll always have a soft place in my heart for my 1st computer..the MacPlus. I remember the sales guy tried to talk me into the original saying...you'll never a need 1Mb of RAM.
I've owned 3 Macs, one being a Performa née LC II, one being a Rev C 333 MHz G3 iMac, one being my current 15" LCD iMac. While my old LC II gets the nod for longevity and getting my butt out of a scrape on more than one occasion, this current iMac is the bee's knees in my experience. I've never had such an elegant computer and such an easy experience. Now if those new iApps would get get here, I'd really be set. My only frustration at this point is that I still haven't found the perfect workflow with image editing (.psd and .t3doc files). Everything else I've mentioned around here as ideas or wishes would be icing on the cake.
My favorite Mac will always be the first one I ever bought. It's an iMac DV Special Edition 400 Mhz G3. I know that I'll never sell it. Bought it at Sears believe it or not. I think it was right before they stopped selling Apple hardware.

TiBook 800Mhz
Love it alot

me too
Seriously, the step from my 7200/120/PC Compat. to a G4/400(agp) was one of the nicest steps up for me, stepping into a Ti was probably the best.
So it's the Ti then. The best mating of form and function ever - well until last week!
