I still predict this to be a massive failure.
From what I'm reading, the release on this foldable phone will be very limited. That plus a likely price tag in the $1,500 plus range, I doubt many will be sold.

Not going be cheap like that of the current iPhone XR is. Apple will be buying 20 of then to give to their engineers and one to Tim Cook to study and use. Look for Apple to be releasing their own version in 2022!

Don't kid yourself. Apple has been working on a foldable iPHone for years. Samsung just wants to scream "First!" without knowing why they're doing it.

Curved displays: A reaction to a curved Apple display patent. Samsung had no idea how to utilize it but did it anyway.

Galaxy Watch: A crappy watch they shi**ed out bvecause they knew the real Watch was coming. Sammy didn't know hot o make it or what to do with it.

    We can go on forever

Really unclear to me what problem this solves?

It's to make people think Samsung is innovative and make an army of idiots think others "copied". That's Sammy in a nutshell.

Thai is why LG said they will not release this, because the idea is immature. What is the point of having that large screen in the device that should be held in one hand? Unless big screen unfolding is optional this does not seem like the greatest idea.

The problem manufacturers had was the foldable screen would break after time. Maybe Sammy finally "cracked" it?

Put it into landscape mode and the screen division has less visual impact. Perfect for writing emails/forum posts.
Exactly. Would become a micro notebook with display on top and keyboard on bottom.

Looks like a decent first effort but everything will hinge on price.
I see what you did there.
Thanks, Mike! I didn't get it until you pointed it out. On behalf of all the people who didn't get it, we thanks you for your comment.

I wonder how many Apple haters will be hypocrites AGAIN and justify the $1,000+ price?

Except Apple develops everything from the software to hardware. Samsung is ripping off their customers.
