OK, iTune split into 3 apps so which app i will need when need to download/install IOS update on iPhone using windows computer ?

On Windows, nothing is changing at all.”
I wonder what that means for platform switchers.  One of the most miraculous things about iTunes was that you could move the iTunes Library folder between Windows and Mac and everything migrated pretty seamlessly if you had set iTunes to manage your music.  I bet those days are over.

Movies and TV shows purchased or rented from iTunes are moving to new Apple TV app, which will continue to work for future purchases or rentals of movies and TV episodes.

What about Movies and TV Shows ripped into the iTunes library from a DVD?
When could you ever do that?
    At least since 2009.
It's been possible -- and done -- since before day one of the Apple TV in 2007.
If by "ripped into the iTunes library" they mean in the same way CDs are ripped in iTunes, in that iTunes itself provides the interface and the songs are imported straight into the library, then no I don't believe (correct me if I'm wrong) iTunes has ever done this as implied by mike1.
As I understand it, this has always been accomplished by ripping a DVD via something like Handbrake and then adding it into the iTunes movie library, and since it's not actually a feature of iTunes I don't see any reason why it would change. My assumption is that you'll do it the same way as before but you'll be adding the movie to the library in the TV app instead of iTunes.
