Wow, the games in Arcade are very good. I just joined for the free month trial but I think I will subs, it's only $8/mth where I live. As long as they keep adding quality games the fee is nothing.

I downloaded my first game and clicked on the Accept Agreement button. Each game is going to have its own Accept Terms button? That's pretty lame. I thought the Apple Arcade agreement would cover all games. Apparently not.
What are you talking about? I don't have any agreement to click when I load up Frogger. :roll eyes:

    Quick to complain eh?

    Which games are your favourite?

I am playing Oceanhorn 2. Such a gorgeous game!

The first game I tried said it was compatible with iOS, iPadOS and tvOS. So I presume the omission of macOS means that most of the games on Apple Arcade will not be compatible with Macs. And a few days ago people were telling me on this website "Don't worry! It will all be compatible with macOS using the keyboard as your controller!" EDIT; The first TWO games are incompatible with macOS. So my worst fears are now realized.
Your "worst fear" ought to be your terrible reading comprehension problem. Apple said during the keynote, AI has noted in articles, and everyone here has reminded you that EVERY game on Apple Arcade is compatible with the Mac ... when Catalina comes out next month.

Is your nom de forum reflective of when you were born?

I'm going to wait until it's available on iPad (and Apple TV), but most of the graphics in the Arcade "show reel" look amazing and have actually got me excited about a number of the titles. Sure, many look like (mostly) "casual/family" gaming (think Oceanhorn or Sonic Racing as an example), but I think they've really upped the ante on "casual" quality here. Looking forward to it.

Wish one day Apple make a bundle fee in which users can select those they are interested in and pay accordingly for the services (BTW nice digital selections, Apple, these are the things most people consume daily).
    1. Games
    2. Music
    3. News
    4. Shows

    One day:
    5. Shopping (AR)
    6. Travel (Apple Car)

Bud, calm down.  Might I suggest you slow down and gather some info.  Try the Apple Arcade page for instance. https://www.apple.com/apple-arcade/  The footnotes tell you that Apple Arcade is still rolling out and will reach all devices by this fall. Patience. You can't seriously be angry because you believed some unsubstantiated claim by a site member?  That's silly when info about the service is available from Apple.
I downloaded my first game and clicked on the Accept Agreement button. Each game is going to have its own Accept Terms button? That's pretty lame. I thought the Apple Arcade agreement would cover all games. Apparently not.
Why would you think the AA agreement would cover all games?  Nowhere in Apple's ecosystem does their agreements apply to the devs agreements.  Apple tells you in multiple places that 3rd party services are governed by their own policies.  Again, just a suggestion but maybe stop, gather pertinent info, satisfy your concerns and then jump back in.  The games will still be there.  You don't have to be the first.
Ok, so I stand corrected about my "worst fears." I was just using a little flamboyant language. But you are absolutely wrong when you cite that web page and claim that that page says it "will reach all devices by this fall." It says it will reach "other devices by fall." BIG DIFFERENCE between "ALL" and "OTHER". In fact, I think you've just proved my point and my fears. And I have other proofs but I'll leave it at this one for now.
That's why I left the link for you to read for yourself.  And you're dead wrong... CAPS and all.  Within the context of this subject, all and other are essentially the same.  There is only 1 other device missing - Macs.  It will be on Macs by this fall... putting it on all devices by this fall.  So no it doesn't prove your point at all.  You simply overreacted, everyone pointed it out, and you're looking for a way to save face.  Bud, just take the L and move on.  We all err from time to time.  No big deal.

Which specific games have you seen tvOS listed in the 'Compatibility' section? Every game that I select in Apple Arcade starts with 'Requires iOS 13.0 or later' and says that it will run on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. There's no mention of tvOS or macOS anywhere. You may have clicked on games that are in the 'More by' section, which includes games that aren't a part of Apple Arcade. Those games might mention tvOS at times.
