Apple Pay, Google, and now Facebook Pay... all these US companies are super late in the payment game. China has taken the lead in global digital payments 10 years ago. US is just a follower...

Uh, you do realize American company PayPal is 20 years old, right? So by definition your Chinese heroes are followers themselves.

What will end up happening is people will have all these various payment system (wallets) Apple cash, venom, Facebook pay and so on with money sitting in them and these companies will makes money off your money because it sitting on these companies accounts. I use Apple cash, but I have run into people who only use venmo, and they want you then to set up venmo account. Before you know you have to manage your money in bunch of different places.

"Users first give Facebook their credit or debit card details, or PayPal information." That gave me chills down my spine.

Just how stupid would someone have to be to give their confidential financial information to a company legendary, for stealing data, mining data, mishandling data, losing data, leaking data, and so on.
You’ll be surprised how many are and will do it.

Listen, anyone goofy enough to rely on Facebook for performing monetary transactions can’t be right in the head anyway.
