It connects to a computer via a single Thunderbolt port, and can drive up to two dual 4K displays or a single 5K, 6K, or 8K display. It also supports high performance storage solutions like NVMe; audio/visual mixers; and a range of other accessories.

OWC also debuted the USB-C Travel Dock, which sports two USB-3 ports, and HDMI port, an SD card reader and a Gigabit Ethernet port. It also features 100W pass-through power to keep devices powered, but remains about the "size and weight of a hockey puck."

Aimed at users on the go, the USB-C Travel Dock is focused on providing bus-powered dock capabilities in remote workflows. It sticks with Thunderbolt 3, but is compatible with Thunderbolt 4.

Along with the docks, the accessory maker also debuted the Envoy Pro FX, which it calls "the fastest and most compatible portable drive ever made."

I have one of the current OWC TB3 Thunderbolt Dock's, they're absolutely fantastic if anyone is looking for a dock, as we get less and less connections on the Mac, I can recommend them.

The only slight issue is extracting a micro SSD card - takes a big of jiggling but I rarely need it anyway, other than that it's a great product and has all the connections I need.

I like OWC products, but I’m adverse to devices with non-detachable cords.

the travel dock with 100W pass through sounds pretty good but should have had a pair of Tb ports as well for dual monitors.
What is the power supplied by the thunderbolt 4 dock?

Anyone looking for a TB sock should also check out the Caldigit TS3+. I got one a couple months ago and it’s fantastic.

OWC does make an Envoy model that has a detachable TB3 cord. I have one -- I love that it is very easy to open the case up and swap out the NVME inside, and as mentioned it is detachable from the board inside the case. My one and only complaint with it is that OWC cheaped on the chipset, so the read/write speeds don't match the TB3 potential. That said, it is tiny, light, and plenty fast for my purposes.

Um, if you're "traveling" with dual monitors ... maybe you don't quite grasp the concept of a "travel" dock.

Whenever I get to take my MBP with me on a trip (which hasn't happened in a while and probably won't for some time to come), I've found that using Sidecar is more than satisfactory (and wireless!). Sounds like you need one of the "fuller" TB3 docks for your "travel" needs.

For a travel dock that has USB-A, USB-C, HDMI, Display Port, and Flash, Caldigit makes the SOHO dock. It doesn’t have ethernet or a headphone jack though. The best part is it can be used bus powered or you can plug in your MacBook Air/Pro power adapter and have it power your notebook pass through.
