Where would you hide if you were Saddam?

1. A system of underground bunkers.

2. A single bomb shelter deeply hidden somewhere.

3. A house in a residential area.

No. If I were Saddam, I'd hide in the rubble of bunkers already hit by bombs. If they've been hit once, they're less likely to be targeted again, right?

As far as communications and security go, it would be important that Saddam be protected from anyone on either side knowing where he is. He couldn't use a mobile phone or other wireless communications because triangulation could be used to locate him. How would he communicate? Anyone have any ideas? He couldn't really use a courier because they might be seen leaving his stronghold. Still, he's got to have some way of getting those tapes to the media.

Anywhere in Miami. He could shave off that mustache, change his name and pretend to be a Cuban in exile...and nobody would ever challenge him.

I'd hide out in Hans Blix's house. No ****ing chance he'd be found there.

    in a more serious note...

    syria.

by the way, bush is up for re-election in 2004, yes?

wouldnt it be funny if saddam could hide out until bush is defeated in the election, and then saddam returns to be legitmately elected as leader of Iraq, taking over from the interim administration that is handpicked by cheny and bush.

The towel could do him in (maybe with matching jammies, it'd be okay).

But remember, he received 99.9% of the popular votes in the last Iraqi election. That's more than Bush & Gore combined.

DAMN! this appleoutsider stuff (although bad for the blood pressure) is amazingly healthy for the 'ol post count.

I need to find myself some strong opinions (as I don't have any at the moment).

Can anyone help me out here?
