i can't think of anyone's first album that shook up my world as much as that one.......
I know what you mean. The summer after I got it, I was in Egypt and I lost the cd. I thought I wasn't going to make it. It also got me through my freshmen year final exams. My sophomore year, I must have listened to it everyday at least once. The whole way through. My roommate called it "Sammy's Bitch Music." He was a good sport about it. Gotta find that cd so I can re-rip it...
There are so many good rock albums and bands that I can not list them all. Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Eagles, .............. just to name a few more
Gotta love Ride the Lightning by Metallica. Best rock album ever made. as for two and three, that's a tough call. I can't disclude some of my favorite classical works. I am particularly fond of Mozart's 25th, most Bach, and even a few operas. There aren't a lot of recent musical endeavors that really amaze me. I don't really give a damn about anything poetic about music, so I tend to think most indie stuff is crap.
Hey Barto ,you're the thief , the records not even mixed mastered or released. Speaking as a starving musician people rely on their percentages of points and publishing which kind of disappear when people don't even pay for stuff. Uncool.
1) I have purchased every other CD in my list. How the F*** am I supposed to purchase an unreleased CD?
2) You can bet your troll's axe I will buy the final copy.
3) I'm a fan of Radiohead... do you have any fans?
4) See above, why should I have to buy CDs? I do because I'm a fan, even though it perpetuates the morally bankrupt cartel of the big 5 entertainment companies.
