Try searching for your computer on ebay then look at completed items to see what they fetch. You can ship that fedex 'cross the USA for under $30, and open your sale up to a world market bidding war. I have sold 3 macs on ebay, all with success. let me know if you need some help!

Thanks for the info/encouragement. I may very well do that. Would probably get more for it that way. And it's only $30 to ship something that big and heavy cross country? Amazing.

Hey, I see where you're located. I just left Carlsbad after living there for nearly 4 years (been in SoCal, specifically the Irvine area of Orange County and, since 1998 or so, the Carlsbad area).

    Beautiful there. Whereabouts in Encinitas?

    I live in Leucadia

I shipped mac from here to OH for $32.00 with insurance. It was the 233, very heavy. I would imagine your imac flat would be lighter than 50 pounds boxed. I also got an emac shipped to me for $35--sucker weighed 70 pounds...came from L.A. tho.

Well, I love it here. Get annoyed with all the snobs...but there are less in ENcinitas

as far as your auction goes, the MORE info the better, the more ACTUAL pics the better. Clean and precise auctions are the best. Let me know if need some help. I do auction templates in HTML for folks all the time--been selling for almost 4 yrs.
