I am pondering the financial position of someone able to afford to put an AirTag on an election poster
Would you mind clarifying this comment? An AirTag is maybe $30, tops.

If you’ve noticed a history of your yard signs being stolen and you’d like to catch the thief, this is a VERY small risk to take and — as this story shows — it paid off handsomely for the victims.

Hopefully that young MAGAt will get a fine, fingerprinted and mug shot, and a short spell in county jail in the hopes of teaching him to respect other people’s property (and right to express their political opinion).
He wasn't the only one involved in the thefts. Momma Bear played a big part. With the two working together they constitute a conspiracy which in itself is a felony in many states. They won't see real jail time if any at all, but I wouldn't say no to 60 days in the county lockup and lengthy probation for them both.

Nothing in that makes any sense. It's not like they had to cash in a CD to do that. How is their "financial situation" in anyway relevant? How many signs must be stolen from them before you see the small cost of an AirTag being "justified"? Three isn't enough?

It's sad that decorum is gone from one party as MAGA made cheating and stealing acceptable.
There are significant incidents on both sides.  Last week in my town an anti-Trump couple was stealing signs and harassing someone because of their Trump sign.  Lead to a shooting and a trip to the Jail for the harassers.

Kamala is the democrat nominee? Who voted for her. Oh yeah no one. I remember now. She stole it from Joe, who we did vote for in the primary. Now that’s the decorum of cheating and stealing. Yup she’s just like us
The delegates to the Democratic convention voted for her, just like any other nomination convention by every other party every election. The nomination wasn't stolen from Biden, it was contested and he bowed out and endorsed Harris. Biden delegates were free to vote for Harris or another person. They voted for Harris almost unanimously, simple as that. It was not illegal. Democrats were concerned over Biden's incipient memory issues, unlike the other guy, whose full-blown dementia is on daily display.

Congratulations on getting an "F" in remedial civics.

Clue to ThatCluelessguy2: Repeating ignorant statements doesn't make it true, it just makes the repeater look stupid.

Looking forward to the predictable next repeat.

You're kidding right? Refresh my memory, was it the Republicans or the Democrats in California (and everywhere else) that increased the amount you'd have to steal or shoplift for it to be a felony, or even be prosecuted? I hope you're trolling, because your comment is extremely ignorant.
You're kidding, right? For the memory challenged, the article was about MAGA Republicans stealing from citizens with whom they disagreed - in Missouri. Theft. Not in California. Nothing mentioned in the article about any kind of legislation in any state.

CLEARLY you're trolling, because your comment has nothing to do with what was actually in the article.

Interesting.  Remember that in some states, conviction for a felony offense results in a lifetime of revoked voting rights.

In 2020, I saw more Republicans Against Trump signs than either Biden or Trump signs.  Suspect that if GOP convention in 2020 had chosen someone other than Trump (which they could have legally done), Biden would not have won both the Popular and Electoral vote.  In both 2016 and 2020, Trump lost the popular vote.  In 2020, Trump lost both the popular and the electoral vote.  Trump helped Biden BIGLY!  I'd argue that nobody helped Biden get elected more than Trump.

    1) I agree that that Biden would've likely lost the popular vote had the Republicans picked an actual Republican. Even now we have an unprecedented number of Republicans both voting for and stumping for Harris because the Republicans are being led by RINOs that hold zero values of the GOP.

    2) I've seen enough of these sad people at MAGA rallies with their TDS making weird claims that if Harris wins it was stolen and their proof is the number of people at the rallies. I've never been to a political rally for anyone. I never would attend one and only know a handful of people that ever would. I don't put yard signs out or have bumper stickers on my vehicles. I certainly never bought a giant flag or had my vehicles wrapped with a decal that made a near 80yo man look like Rambo.

It's very odd and pathetic that people think of a political rally like it's a WWE event because it never has to deal with actual policy. His ramblings never even cover the "concept" of a plan. As an aside, these silly people always complain about how bad the economy is under Biden — which we know is false — while always wearing hundreds of dollars in new Trump/MAGA garb.

There's that old adage, “You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time," which is most like but undetermined to be a quote from Jacques Abbadie. I always liked that quote and felt it was genuinely accurate, but I never figured the "some of the people" would be such a large amount" and maybe it's not because we have seen with the Dominion voting case with email and text document that all those FOX News journalists personalities never believed the stuff they were peddling but did it for viewership. That's just sad that they've help gaslit so many people and make their lives worse as a result.
