University of Virginia anyone?

Hi guys,

Those of you who help me make a decision in my previous thread, thank you all very much. I have decided to attend U.Va after much debate.

So I wanted to know if there is anyone in this forum who will be attending U.Va or is currently there. I'd like to speak with a future classmate or someone who's there prior to going. Some schools have a website dedicated to future students but U.Va does not.

So U.Va anyone?

Many thanks.

Hey! The trees fork! The problem is the coke spoons up their noses.

Never heard a thing about this school so I couldn't tell you. I'm a senior though, and so is my girlfriend and she's going to go to William and Mary, that's in virginia. Ever thought of going there? Suppose to be a great school.

UVA is a good place. It's big, so you're pretty much guaranteed to find your crowd. I have some friends and acquaintances who are of very different types, and they seem to like it. I don't know what's wrong with Scott.

Most people I know or meet from UVA are pricks, a-holes, losers, coke heads ect ect. One of my sisters friends from UVA "stole" our car when he was staying with us for a few nights. Generally when you stay at someone's place it doesn't entitle you to use the car, taking the keys off the hook when no one is home, and emptying the tank while you tool around NoVA. But that's UVA for you, the self anointed privilege class of Virginia.

I could go on and on.

Scott has emotional ties to Hokie High.

I'm sure UVA is a fine school.

Damn you all, all the posters that dissed my school. Well now I'm here and I am proud to attend this fine institution.

In fact, it's the top public university!

Just too many people from NoVa...

Btw, we're tied for No. 1. that doesn't mean Uva isn't no. 1. It isn't exclusive.

Virginia blows. At best the third best large public schools in the US. Not a hot chick on the entire campus. Might as well be at a school for bull dykes.

You are a royal pain in the ass.

I guess that rape experience you had in Charlottesville has made you particularly stereotypical. Any large state school is going to have a varied student body. There are indeed a lot of Northern Virginia preppies there, but there are a lot of very smart people there too: UVA runs a number of scholar programs that attract good students without the money and general level of snobbery that we Ivies command.
