So true. My mom has one (personalized with PTMOMMA license plates) The turning radius just plain sucks. Her's is maxed out with all the bells and whistles though, but I still can't stand to drive the damn thing.

I read that they're under powered too. I think they fixed it with the up coming model.

They were never able to integrate the bumper so it looks halfway decent. Thus, I shall pass on it for the forseeable future.

It's got price. Unless you count the thousands of dollars they rebate the 300M every year to sell them.

I didn't drive the GT- but I got a PT as a rental upgrade. It was frightening how underpowered it was- trying to get onto the 101 in Santa Barbara was not fun.

The whole point of the PT Cruiser was to provide a cheap, shitty car that made vain poor people feel like they were driving a nice car. It was a really good idea on Chrysler's part, but there are much better ways to spend the same amount of money and actually get a really good car. If you have good taste, that is.

Ouch, burn. But the PT still doesn't have really fake wood or 18" Special rims.

Well, anyway, a PT GT will go faster than many other cars out there.

Plus, there are plenty of mods to get it towards 300 hp or more maybe by now.

A Mopar forum? Where's one where they talk about cool cars?

    Okay-- mildly kidding.

Q: How do you pronounce "DaimlerChrysler"?

A: "Daimler". The Chrysler is silent.
