MOSR has again been up to its usually wild posts. But in the article its says be ready by april. So whether its a dodecahedron or not it adds another piece to the puzzel that says no g5 in SF but in April. So for the new thread but I thought it could also be discussede about this dedecahedron design. If it needs closed then ok just wanted to fill you in.

Meader must've just gotten a new selection of drugs. I wonder what he's taking this time.

I made that shape out of paper... It is stable and has a flat top but you would have to have some wierd motherboard to fit in that thing. Interesting idea nevertheless.

Hey give Ryan a break, at least he got his server back up again! Sure, just to tell us that 10.1.2 is available and to make up dodecahedron stories, but you got to give him credit for "reporting" (if that is what you call it) something... sorta...

As I posted in the other Dodecahedron thread....

I think it would be the worst idea since re-opening Mac OS Rumors....

I checked it at 1:00 AM PT last night and there was nothing. I'm still trying to imagine what this beast would look like.

Someone make one out cardboard, paint it, photograph it while shaking the camera slightly, and send it to MOSR. They'll probably post it.

    YES!

    They'd post it right away!

Hmm, I might do that after lunch if someone doesn't beat me to it. But if someone wants to do it, go ahead.

It's total crap, but this line is just priceless Meader writes "...but it's a good example of the kind of break-out thinking that is in fact going on at Apple right now." Not even Jobs on full RDF mode could come up with something like the }}}drum roll{{{ Dodecahedron.

A dodecahedron would be a really stupid idea... how exactly would you open the thing and stick your hand in if there was any expandability (i.e. memory)? Wonder how long it took 'em to think up that story.

Even though the dodecahedron has beautiful geometry - its hardly elegant... especially to an engineer. Imagine the confusion on the engineers face when he would have been asked to squeeze all the computer stuff into such an unforgiving shape!

This idea is a complete crock. Sorry, computer hardware is arranged in trecangular prisms, not shapes with more sides.

    My lame drawing.

I made one out of paper but even Meader would see it was made of paper with little drawings on it.
