I actually have another LCD, a 15" NEC TFT display which I use to control my servers (all 4 of them) on those rare occasions when I don't use RDC to connect to them
Seriously, what a nice set-up. You know what, you need some more LCDs!
Paul, I think I told you already that I got the Powerbook primarily for Mac/PC administration. I have a very mixed client base, and it just makes more sense to lug a Powerbook around than a PC. I bought a ThinkPad a month ago thinking it would do the job, but it really sucked, both functionally and aesthetically. So I promptly returned it. With the Powerbook I can access any server and/or desktop, which is great. The looks of the Powerbook are a bonus.

I have a buddy who does that sort of stuff too (mostly networking and setting up storage/sharing configurations). He, too, uses a PowerBook (a 1GHz TiBook and seems to function flawlessly and with no hassle in a mixed environment.
He has nothing but good things to say about the PowerBook, on every level.

I am just tired...
So when are you getting yours? Need more convincing?

EDS66, congrats. Do you have a digital camera to take some shots of it? I always enjoy seeing the "real life" photos.
scates, admit it, you're just printing them up and adding them to your collection of hot soccer moms.
Paul, you ordered it right? Exact same configuration as mine. Mine is just starting to track now.

They have to be hosted on some web server and linked to... you can't upload an image as part of your post.

Thank you for the pictures, EDS66! I am increasingly torn between the new 12-inch and 15-inch PowerBooks.

It's cool. I frequently "double post" accidentally. Haha.

Still saving. Should be soon. A couple of things popped up (as usual...sigh) that kinda took priority.
As I was telling DaveHagan earlier tonight, I should have mine by Halloween at the latest. But probably way before then. We'll see...
(maybe I should set up a PayPal donation box...
