I just turned it on damnit, I forgot it was today. I have yet to hear Ahhnold speak. However I like Arianna...she's extremely smart and that's a turn on to me Her little accent works for me too. I wonder what she looked like in her Oxford days....
LOL...Ahhnold just gave an 8th grade level explanation about how an economy works. He just said come Oct. 8th he would be "Governor Ahhnold". As a Republican I am kind of embarrassed of this clown. :
Huffington and Camejo aren't bringing anythin but subtle and not so subtle ad homs and attacks to the table. Huffingto especially is just going straight for Schwarzenegger. She didn't speak on topic ONCE.
It seems that Camejo wants to focus on the people behind Arnold's campaign rather than Arnold himself.
I just loved it when Bustamante kept saying, "Arianna, you don't understand." "Arianna, let me try to help you understand." "You don't have a grasp of the subject..." etc.
Screw all these candidates, I want the moderator to be Governor. He's the frickin' best.

That's because Camejo had just gone off about how Pete Wilson put them in the down economy, and is part of Arnold's campaign.
Tom McClintock was the best spoken; clear and to the issues. Ahhnold was funny and I tend to agree with his idea that raising taxes will drive more people to either leave the state or add to the burden of the social net. The green candidate was far too anti-business. He said a few things I agree with but over all his ideas scare me. He has no economic sense. The b*tch from hell can forget any mention from me I can't stand her for even one second. Cruz was soft spoken and I agree more adult like than the others minus McClintock. I do feel he is good at trying to be all to all people when in the end he is part of the problem in California and takes money from special interests which I disagree with 100%.

I agree with most of your assessment. However it's pretty naive to think Ahhnold is not going to take money from special interests. He already is.
Edit: I forgot to add I liked McClintock too. I think McC has a game plan and that's a big plus. Better than Ahhnold's la-la-land world.
That Ahhnold- very quick with the wit! Yeah, I know- that's no way to pick the good candidate. I've got absolutely no political eye, anyway. So the BS and the real$hit look the same to me.
My favorite part- when Ahhhnold says, "Well I've got a real good part for you in Terminator 4 then."

McClintock's probably got the best actual plan to rescue California from the economic doldrums. The dealbreakers are some of his political stances. So for me, the next best thing is Ueberroth...er...****... Arnold. He'll be most likely to adopt some of the strategies McClintock suggested while also remaining very centrist on the more hotly contested issues...which is GOOD IMO.
Bustamante was soft spoken, but he did take every opportunity to play the race card... Skin color and disadvantage are not synonymous, no matter how things may seem. It's something that shouldn't be written into a government's bylaws.
Damn the public for not accepting Ueberroth, who wasn't well spoken, but actually had ideas.

Can anyone confirm that Bustamante indeed "played the race card?" Can we also get a clear definition of what that actually means? We hear the phrase so often and so generally used that I am beginning to think that anytime a politician talks about race he is "playing the race card."
Actually I thought it was quite entertaining, much better than the Presidential Democratic primary where each and every one of them seemed to try to pander to any group they could think of. I didn't see any one of them as being leadership material except perhaps for Kerry.
I thought Arnold held his own quite well. McClintock actually performed the best but he's a tad too conservative for my tastes (I am pro-choice and pro-gun control). The others and their shameless pandering to the illegal immigrant lobby was truly ugly.
Arnold is the best of the lot.....................................
Yeah, Ueberroth would be a more legitimate candidate IMO than Ahhnold. NO doubt about that. As a Republican it p*sses me off that were just being played along for a much grander scheme: the 2004 Elections.
The Reps are putting all their chips on Ahhnold's popularity. That's all. Who cares about the state? Forget having good candidates with ideas like Ueberroth, McClintock, or Riordan(why aren't you running Dick?). This is about the presidential elections. Nothing to do with California.
It's no surprise that Ahhnold didn't have the b@lls to show face at the previous debates. All he can talk about are generalities. I laughed at his little Eighth Grade Economics explanation. He almost repeated it verbatim, in the post debate "spin" Q & As.

Why is Ariana focusing all her attention on Arnold and attaking him instead of actually answering the question asked?
I don't know, she's dumb as a post.

I liked the green party canidate but why is he talking about federal politics in his closing statements?
Because he has no chance at winning the election and this is a huge platform for his and his party's "message".
By the way, Arianna H. is a brilliant woman. If anything she's just too emotional to be a politician.

Tonight's debate winner(read, the lesser of 5 evils):
Cruz Bustamante. That's just my opinion.
My favorites were both McClintock and Ahhnold.

And the fact that unless he has a script in front of him he's clueless.
