Neither were funny. The only consistently funny bit in either of those movies are the dinner scenes in Water Boy

and he has good appearances in other movies. I have not seen Happy Gilmour! yet!
Don't bother.

The Shining was retarded. Why does everyone like it?
Because we all have taste? Because we can watch it over and over again and find it consistently interesting?

I am for the first time watching the Alien movies and they're just dumb old action movies, but the lines like game over man are funny. Once again, so we can get the Family Guy gag. The vehicle in two kicks though. Also the asshole and The Company are pertinent to how America operates and will operate in the future. Companies will fsck us just like are fscking us today, people will sacrifice their fellow man for money. yay!
They're hardly "dumb old action movies." The first is a horror movie. Do me a favor: watch it again and see how many times you actually SEE the monster. The second is a dumb old action movie. The third is, well, some weird David Fincher surrealist experiment that I like but don't entirely understand. The 4th is I think only a success insofar as it finishes out Ripley's epic/heroic story by allowing the re-born her to return home.
I suggest that you find a different measure of whether or not a film is good than whether or not it helps you get the jokes on the (insipid) Family Guy.
Cheers

BTW, the "asshole" who works for the company is played by Paul Reiser.
I don't understand it . . all my nieces and nephews love 'Happy Gilmour' . . . . I can't believe it!!
it is truly one of the worst films that I have ever seen!!!
His humor in that film is pathetic . . . and I am willing to accept alot . . . but to watch his 'gags' in that film its like watching someone heal in a hospital . . . you feel nothing but pain and hope that they will get over it . . .
its as if the humor is funny because the real joke is that its really not funny . .. as if that somehow were what was funny about it

I had high hopes for that movie, it failed me.
I highly doubt that it failed you.
Anger Management was great,
No, it wasn't. It was stupid.
Billy Madison was great,
No, it wasn't. It was stupid.
