I mean, if the parents are so afraid about the safety of these things then they also need to address the same idea about overhead powerlines which can cause lukemia.

No they can't. High tension power lines don't cause cancer

You'd have to smash it on your skull to cause "potential harm".

god, you just don't get it!

this isn't about the safety of WiFi as much as it is a school districts failure to engage parents in what's going on at school. most school systems would be delirious to have parental involvement.

if it was school prayer, or tainted food in the cafeteria and the school district was stonewalling, you don't think there would be lawsuits flying?

Yes I was going to mention it is 8 inches and also, aren't these the same parents assaulting each other over Little League games? The American public in general is stupid and I don't blame teachers for ignoring them. Teachers are so underpaid it's not funny. It has to be one of the toughest jobs in the world, and they are treated the worst in this country. We love our litigation in this country, that's for sure! \

instead of suing about this why don't they sue over more important things, like the fact that Creationism is being taught in school, Under God is in the pledge of allegiance, kids aren't learning crap in schools anymore, that drug use is still a major issue, that schools don't have enough funding and expand into bathrooms, and the list goes on. However Oak Park seems to be affluent and maybe they have nothing better to do there or are ignoring some more real problems.

    A) Our educational system is designed more to segregate society in order to maintain our economic structure than it is to educate children and prepare them for independent life. If kids actually learn something, it's by accident or through their own effort, not by design. This is intentional and documented. It was never even a secret. Do the research.

    B) There might be some place in America, maybe some isolated little patch of ice in Alaska, where people are not constantly bombarded with radio waves, pollutants, UV rays, germs, carcinogens, misleading advertisements, fatty foods, pornographic e-mail, and daytime talk shows. But there's probably no school there. Don't fool yourself into thinking that your children are any safer when they're at home under your supervision than they are anywhere else. The only difference is whether the school gets sued or you do.

    C) Tha's it. I got nothin' else.

Scott have you been a teacher?

    Influenza nope.

The kids have an easy solution, just wear tinfoil hats like in Signs. It's fun for the whole family! Take 8-10 minutes at home the night before, and construct tin foil hats for the kids! Build you own even! Helps bring the family together, build family values, encourage kids to explore their creativity, and you can even recycle the tin foil when you're done! Even though janitors in most high schools through recycling in in the trash...

Everyone's happy. Yay for tin foil!
