Someone needs to email the designer a link to the 17" PowerBook.
OR KILL HIM.
It's funny cause it's true. It's also funny that Apple makes incredible computers that everyone tries to copy, and fails miserably. Who would even want one of these? I'd take a 15" AlBook over that any day! Who is Sony kidding with these worthless sorry excuses for computers?
I'm not gonna try and defend the PCV-P101 cos I don't like it. But if you look at the Sony Japan site, you can see that the flash (or whatever) advertisement never shows the computer outside of the home. It shows the computer being carried *more easily than a desktop would be* from upstairs to down; the computer being used on the dining table *unlike a desktop would be*; and the computer being stored/displayed on a shelf *unlike a desktop would be*. Whether any of these are useful in any way WHATSOEVER is another question. I'm just saying that this is a within-the-home portable desktop, rather than a notebook.
If nothing else is to be said for it, the PXG-X505 should be commended for miniaturisation.

Funny that is about all I do with my laptop, just carry it around my house, not outside too much. Maybe it will change next year at college though for note taking.
