Anyone else starting to wonder why Masturbating shows up all of a sudden with "inside info." on every damn thing Apple makes? This makes no sense. To say nothing to the fact that if his posts had any legitimacy at all, there would've been a lawsuit by now.

The thing that takes the cake for me is his claim that the TiBook would be "quietly" updated to change color and the amount of Ti in the casing. These computers were just "quietly" updated to include combo drives - you'd have to be an idiot to claim that rather than making the change THEN that Steve would order a 3-week supply of those machines just to change the whole thing AGAIN in January and *not mention it*?!?!?!

Sloppy, slopppy.....Masturbator, go back into whatever piece of woodwork you came from and quit using these boards to flex your ego. We're tired of it.

You may be, but I am not. Even if he has no inside information, it's more interesting to read than most of the boring posts going on in Future Hardware recently. Good to have the rampant speculation and inside information back.

    Well put MacAgent.

I'd much rather read gratuitous posting by the likes of Dorsal, Mastergateing, et al., than have people attacking people's credibility (wah...I can't believe poster X because I he won't tell me exactly where he works or what his name is...wah).

    Lighten up everyone!

    Speculation?!?!?!

I was under the impression that everyone that posted here either works at Apple, Motorola, or IBM.

The Titanium Powerbook G4 may be updated at MWSF and shipped later but I know for a fact that the enclosure is going to be slightly altered.

The mouse is going to be changed whether you want it to be or not. God, I wish I could fast forward to Jan 7. I am correct about (hopefully) everything. My source has never failed me in the past.

I agree. Ryan Meader is still in a Thorazine haze and hasn't produced anything to get me going since his return. Lie to me. I don't care. Just make it fun until the inevitable let-down on the 7th.

WHY THE HECK DID YOU HAVE TO MENTION SEMEN!?!

I thought my iBook was sooooo slick, now its yucky!!!!!

Wow, first it's Kormac, and now it's Mastergating...

    Both idiots.

Mastergateing, can you offer any proof, that what you say is actually true? If not, go away, and leave us all alone.

Does anyone ever have proof? If we had to have proof in order to post here, these would be some mighty empty boards.

Why do so many people always just say "go away" to those who purport to have inside info? It's absurd -- that's what these boards are here for: to amuse us until the next Expo.

I don't know if Mastergateing (a reference to designing chips?) is right or not, but frankly, it doesn't really matter to me. If it all comes to pass, I'll be damn impressed at both MG and Apple, but if not, who cares? I was both amused and tantalized, and for that, I thank you.

I am a little concerned about 1.4GHz being less than the total 1.6GHz in the current high-end machine, and I can't say I'm a fan of Ive going back to his sink-n-tub design phase, but I'm sure that the new mobo and other goodies will make up for it.

So you're saying you have no problem with me starting my own thread, full of rumors claiming Steve Jobs plans to hand over Apple to Bill Gates??

Where do you draw the line? I mean, let's have some legit discussion. People claiming to have insider sources should offer some more proof that they are indeed offering insider information.

I'm not going to simply believe every rumor that makes it's way into these forums. If I find something worth believing, I'll ask the provider to give some proof that he is indeed telling the truth?

    Any problem with that?

Yea there's a problem. Most can't offer any proof legit or not.

This ain't a news site (AI's sometimes-active front page notwithstanding). It's a semi-anonymous bulletin board for RUMORS. You kiddies whining for "proof" are spoiled brats.

Don't wanna believe it? You don't HAVE to.

Don't wanna read it? You don't HAVE to.

Sheesh - this is America, still, yes? Freedom of choice, freedom of speech, Bill of Rights, etc. ?

You say you want "proof", or more "reliable" rumors? Put down the mouse (and the bong), get off your ass, and go get 'em yourself.

Just be prepared to be ridiculed by smart-ass punks with nothing of their own to add, when you post it here...

'Cuz they are always wrong and they falsely raise the hopes of the more naive forum members, causing them to feel sorely disappointed when none of it comes true.
