    That's only because it wasn't MacWordable news. A dual G4 going from 1.3 to 1.4 GHz would have gotten boos.

    Sure he'll announce speed bumps, it is just what the Mac community needs to hear, the Motorola days are over. Why wouldn't he announce it? The biggest question in everyones mind is will the G5 stagnate? Will Apple lose its lead again? He'll announce, count on it.

    Apple's typically kept their music announcements separate from their computer announcements, at least in the last year. While new iPods will be great, faster G5's, xServe G5's, a new eMac/iMac type line on G5's, Powerbooks G5s are what the MacWorld crowd is interested in, IMO. It is a Macworld, not an iPodworld after all. I think new iPods will come out with iTunes 5 later in January, Steve may not want to dilute the other announcements.



    Though a 4GB HD iCamera would be really cool.
