I'm in my 30's so I'm naturally nostalgic about the 80's.
Magic Fingers is probably younger, so the 90's is his bag. Boats what floats them.
I used to be in my 30's, but just turned 40 last month. So I remember the 60's through today. (the 70'sand 80's have a few blurs) and in my post i said "the *best* thing to come out of...." remember the way things line up, worse, bad, good, better, best....you see. I never said the 80's suxor, in your rush to defend your/my "coming of age decade" you guys tried to put that in my mouth.
I meant it to be taken as "better" and as far as I'm concerned it was better in the 90's, plus I was talking about more than music.
So let me see if I can find an 80's vinyl or cd that I like better than a 90's 70's, or even 60's album.....hmmm, I've looked, and I stand by my opinion, especially the economical part.
it takes all kinds of people to make this world go around, Randy
what do you mean beginning, that nin cd came out in like 89...
but about the 80s, some of the BEST MOVIES came out in the 80s. i mean come on, my favorite of all time, back to the future! much love for marty and doc!

Well I was only born in only '83, so a good part of the 80's for me are just blurry parts of memories. You'd think that I'd be nostalgic about the 90's, but while I did get into some of it for a while I always liked the stuff that I had only vague memories of. There's definitely some good music from the 60's, 70's, and 90's, but hippies drive me nuts, disco is lame, and the Seattle, I-wear-flannel-and-do-heroin scene bores me, and is probably why the 90's got off to a bad start.

I'm going to keep my opinion kinda quiet here about 80's music.
All in all, I just kinda think the 90's were kinda lame...
