Have you seen all of the other stupid threads he's started about his iMac not coming yet? First of all, like someone said, it was already posted elsewhere. Secondly, Macintosh needs to stop opening so many topics about the new iMacs, whether it's his or not. I'm just sick of seeing it, and when I see the name Macintosh in a thread about the iMac it just pisses me off because of his whining and stupidity in all the others.

If you guys have such problems with his topics, don't respond to them. It's that simple.

    This is pathetic.

You might be disappointed EmAn. On the MacNN forums he posted that he cancelled his iMac order and is getting a DV Camera instead. (I didn't see any posting here)

This originally came from Macintouch, btw. Also, I do not think it would be a sign that the components are extra delicate, but I think Apple would have put that in to make sure the computer IS protected. I have known of people who thought their system was grounded, and it ended up REALLY screwing them over later on....

That little explination at the top is BS anyways if you ask me.

As everybody has said. This was posted in another thread, and in that thread there was a guy having a similar problem with his iMac. He opened it up, and said that place to tighten the wires, and the ground wire is not even there the way it is described.

I just don't buy that some IT guy looked right where any novice electrition (I include My Self as a novice electrition) would have looked first thing, and spootted something so obvious that not one engineering professional, or even a an Apple Tech would have seen. Give me a break.

Not only that. Th first time I read that I noticed a familiariaty about the way that story was writen. It totaly reminds me of a writing style I've seen before in false rumors. The guy that wrote that is a common BS rumor poster I'm sure of it.

Yeah I know, I helped convince him to cancel the iMac. He was thinking about getting an iBook instead also. You probably haven't seen anything about it here because I'm pretty sure Jonathan banned him now.

If it's there I'm going to read it. I can't speak for applenut, but I can speak for myself and if you notice, I don't have problems with many people here. I just can't stand to see someone constantly bitch because his iMac hasn't come yet. At least he's getting an iMac (or was)! Also, everyone knows how long people wait for new Apple stuff, so instead of making himself sound like a baby, he should've just shut up.

I read this too in another forum (macintouch I think). Soundz like a load shizat. The plug is very tight, and at least in my hands seems to make great contact. I've come to think that Macintosh's parents just told him they ordered an iMac as some twisted social experiment on patience. Everybody that I know that ordered one on or before the date I did got there's in a timely manner. My favorite bit of misinformation was from Thinksecret (which I usually find a little more credible) that said the iMacs had been returned because they were faulty and would explain the Taiwan to Anchorage to Taiwan reports. Timezones Anyone? Geez.
