Isn't it more fitting to call Bush a Nazi since grampa Bush helped fund them?

Like the media forgot the Plame investigation.

Britney's fake marriage is so much more interesting.

Dick Cheney's a real dickhead! He thinks that if America builds more nuclear plants it won't have to worry about carbon emissions!

    Oh, my sides are splitting.

You can call the present adminstration... hyper conservative, heavy handed... reactionary... slow footed... maybe even militaristic... but not fascist...

However... the way this administration conducts business is incredibly disciplined and secretive... which is troubling.

The NY Times is doing the same thing to Dean that they did to Nader. The only articles were clritical ones, but most of the time there was severe undercoverage.

I think the U.S. is somewhat immune to fascism in that it's a capitalistic society... and in fascist regimes the economy and industry become a state run arm of the political wing.

In the present administration it's flipped... the biggest corporations and political donors are running the show.

Let's be fair. Hitler did have some pretty effective PR tactics.

The US is not and never will be a fascist state.

    It'll be something else.

At some point a group (who won't be the 'left' but may get their first big influx from there) will find a new name for what the US is becoming.

Explain that last line. It's vague.

The United States is effectively an oligarchy.

NO. The Washington Times is as is UPI.

Rupert Murcoch's NewsCorp owns the NY POST.
