wait a minute, I want to play guitar too. I have much experience with the guitars, 30 yrs or so, and I am highly regarded by my musical peers. I have played with John Lee Hooker,(and I dont even care to play the blues), my bands have opened for the Byrds(1999), Toto(1983), and the list goes on.

I believe that the guitars should be a collaberation of styles anyway.

So please count me in for an AI project, I am off work from shoulder surgery and bored to death anyway.

thats interesting, having several different styled guitarists. it'll make it kind of jazzy, i would imagine. like swing or something. i'm more of a blues player myself, often tapping into classic rock (60s-70s). not very accomplished though, since my money stream comes from computers and guitar is more of a hobby for me (that is, until i settle on a record contract ).

what genre are we going to be doing?

(/me hopes someone says h. s. geek band. those are totally rad.)

Well...If I must choose, I'll take rhythm, cause I don't think lead sounds all that good on an acoustic, and I don't really like electric guitar. And I wasn't trying to hoard anything, I was just putting that all out there. I'm versatile. After reading my first post again, I realized that I "called" all those instruments, I take it back, I just volunteer for them. But I still get rhythm guitar! Oh yea, one more...I got harmonica too.
