Trying to scan Currency in PS CS brings up an error now. Could this be the next way to stamp out ills like Child Porn and other illegal activity?

Do you think that a computer can tell the difference between a 18 year old and a 16 year old? Some people just look young. I have a friend that is 19 and she fits in with most of the grade 10s at her school. She is cute too...

BTW she (the 19 year old friend) was the person who I qouted in my sig.

    Wow. That's unbelievably stupid.

edit: The money thing, not the age thing.

Now, I've just gotta find a scanner...

I tried that a few days ago. Just to see if it was true. Seems to only work with the new $20 bills, not the $100 bills that I make copies of...

    J/K

I don't think Adobe should be held responsible for counterfeit bills and I am not comfortable having the program logically analyze what I scan. If they won't trust me, I can't trust them. Let the arms race begin!

Yeah, this story was carried over at /. last week.

The code is built into many printers too.

Hmmm, so I could still bleach one dollar bills and print the one hundred dollar image on it then. Good...

Here, try opening this file in Photoshop 7. Opening it in CS makes CS throw up the idiot dialog.

You can't even paste that into a blank PS CS document!

The GIMP can open it fine...

    But what is it?

It's the pattern Photoshop CS is looking for. Specifically, there's something about the blue channel in that image that sets it off.
